Sabre was the owner of ZCW, but on the 1st December 2002 he was going to step down from the job to concentrate on his OCW V2 career, but in one last act as president, he added himself to a match for the vacant ZCW hardcore title. Sabre won the match in double quick fashion to become the first ever ZCW hardcore champion. Later on that night he vacated the belt and left ZCW an undefeated champion.
