It's About Time For A Gay Revolution!!!
		With all of the news on gay marriages lately, I only have one thing to say.  Finally!!!  Damn, I have been waiting for this to happen almost all of my life!  In school we read about the civil rights movement, but I always noticed that the movement completely skipped the gays, almost like saying, we are fighting for everyone to be equal, except you.       February 12th should become a national holiday.  San Francisco mayor Gavin Newson decided that gays should be able to marry, and just started doing it.  He just started issuing same sex marriage licenses, and has been doing it ever since.  Since the 12th, over 3,000 same sex couples have recieved marriage licenses.     Not everyone is happy about this though.  Gov. Arnold However-the-fuck-you-spell-it is trying to stop the issueing of marriage licenses, but it's not doing much good.  And now, to make the news even better, San Francisco is sueing the state of California.       California is supposed to protect gay rights and treat them as equals, but since they can't marry it's not really that equal, so San Francisco is sueing, saying that California's marriage laws are unconstitutional.  And the fad is spreading.  Now New Mexico is in the news.  Also, this is good news for gay couples with one member from a different country, because hopefully soon they will be able to have the same citizenship laws as straight couples.      I am so proud of the gay community right now that I don't know if I can express it in words.  If you are gay here in Sacramento, volenteer and get involved with your community with the Lambda center (http://www.lambdasac.org/).
