Artemis is a mare I have loved for a while and was so happy when Chay put her up for sale. What Chay had to say about this mare: "Artemis Peregrine is predominantly Polish-bred and hails from a long line of RL National Champions (to see further pedigree, visit her page provided by link above). Artemis is a stunning bay with a lot of movement, a very refined head and a wonderful pedigree. With greats such as Bask, *Aladdinn, Cognac, Comet, the great mare, Elkana, Huckleberry Bey, Celebes & Gdansk, Artemis is a personified proliferation of athletic, Polish greats. She was brought to Lluvia in order to cross with Klasykal Music, one of our stallions, and produce saddleseat-type horses, but after a reevaluation of my breeding program, I see that Artemis will not be given a just home here, and would do better with an Arabian breeder wanting to add saddleseat-type lines, movement & athleticism to their Arabian program. Artemis will make an utterly fantastic broodmare, and it's my belief that she will produce great champions one day. Or, Artemis could compete in Country English Pleasure, in which she is trained, before breeding. Named "Artemis" for her sire (Artemis was the goddess of the moon and the twin sister of Apollo, who was god of the sun)." Artemis looks to be a big asset in our program bringing some great lines to mix with both our stallions and the outside stallions in HF.
