Chapter 3
By: Michelle

Tony grinned as he saw his cousin walk into the studio and flop onto the seat, next to Jeremiah. "Had fun, last night?"

Matt smirked, his facial expression brightening. "Fuck yea. Need proof?"

"Nah, I 'accidentally' walked into your beautiful house, only to see your naked ass with her on the couch."

Nick joked as he listened into the conversation. "Dude, never will I ever sit on one of your couches again."

The three men laughed and Matt recalled the night's events. Jeremiah shook his head in disgust. He didn't know how anyone could just bet on someone having sex, using some innocent person as a sex object. No strings attached; just some leisure fun.

No, if he ever had someone, he would never do anything like that. He wouldn't do that period. It wasn't an everyday thing, where you find real love.

Matt didn't know a thing about Michelle and vice versa, yet they slept with each other as if was nothing.

A score for Matt and nothing for Michelle.

Michelle slowly drank her coffee, reading the morning's newspaper. Ethan cocked his head to one side and stared at his older sister. Something was different about her. She wasn't in her normal self; she was quieter than her usual quietness.

"You alright?" Ethan asked, taking a bite of his toast.

She put down the newspaper she was reading and looked at her sibling. The moment she looked at his eyes, she knew she couldn't hide anything, but she couldn't tell a 16-year old about her problems. "I'm fine, just tired."

Ethan just nodded, accepting the answer, but not believing in it. He knew that she left right after the show last night, saying that she had to go work and she came home early morning. He didn't know that she had been with Matt, spending a few hours at his house, before slipping out and back into the sanctuary of her home.

"The guys invited us to lunch today." Emily informed, never looking up from her history book.

Michelle slightly choked on her coffee, her eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets. "What?"

"Mest. After you left, we all had so much fun that they invited us to lunch, so we could hang and stuff." Emily shrugged her shoulders as if it was no big deal. "We said we would go."

"They're pretty cool, wanting to hang with us. Plus Tony said he would help with my guitar." Ethan gave a toothy grin.

Michelle gave a half-hearted smile. Yeah, she was REALLY looking forward to go.
