Chapter 9
By: Michelle

Benji glanced at Ella's features as she was soundly sleeping in his arms. Having her back in his arms felt so right and complete. He was sure that he would never let anything happen between them and he was never going to let her go. He was determined to keep her forever. A smile laid upon his lips as Ella softly groaned. Her eyelids fluttered opened to reveal a pair of gorgeous chocolate sleepy eyes. He kissed her forehead. "Hey sleepyhead."

Ella responded by yawning. "What time is it?"

"Late." He grinned, hugging her closer to his body.

She chuckled, drawing circles on his shoulder blades.

He chewed his lower lip and sat up. Ella's eyes questioned. "Let's get married." He blurted.

The surprise washed over her face. She stuttered. "W-what? Married?"

Benji vigorously shook his head and grasped her hands. "I love you so much and I want to be with you forever. I know it's not exactly a romantic proposal more on the spot, but let's get married right now, here in Vegas. Make it official."

Ella let out a staggered breath. Marriage? She loved Benji more than anything. "Right now? In Vegas, you mean to elope?"

"Yes. I mean if you don't want to, I understand."

She smiled. "How can I turn down such a romantic proposal? Yes, Benji, I would love to marry you." She jumped into his arms. "Yes, yes, yes, yes."

Benji wrapped his arms around her body and fell backwards onto the bed, taking Ella down with him. His eyes brightened. "Yea? I promise you I'll make you happy. No more bad Benji." He kissed her lips.

She kissed him back, and then broke away. "I kind of like the bad Benji."

He laughed. "Only for you."

"Let's get married." She squealed, jumping out of bed and running into Joel's room "Oh, Joely! Guess what your brother did?!"

------

Benji nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

"Stop it, you'll rub your skin away." Joel quietly barked. Benji rolled his eyes at the comment. Was it possible to rub your skin away?

After telling the guys that they were planning to get married and after Paul had passed out from the shock that Benji would be getting married, Benji, Joel, Billy and Paul were waiting by the Priest in a small church they had found. Once Ella convinced Benji that even though getting married by Elvis would be interesting, she was not interested.

"I'm proud of you." Joel softly whispered.

Benji looked at his brother in surprise. "You are?"

Joel nodded. "You grew up and decided to be more responsible. You're more wiser than before."

"It comes with age." He joked.

Joel smiled. "It does. But I want you to know that I'm proud of everything you've done and will do. I'm proud to be your brother, even if it comes with the embarrassment."

The words slowly sank in. "Thanks, I'm proud to be your brother too, J-thug."

Joel scoffed. "Way to ruin a brotherly moment."

Benji shrugged and shifted his eyes as the door opened and Ella walked down the aisle. She looked radiant, wearing a simple white sundress and flip-flops, a pink hibiscus that stood out from her brunette hair that was flowing down her shoulders. He connected his eyes with hers and mouthed, 'I love you.' She smiled, mouthing back, 'I love you too.'

After that it was all just a blur.

Ella threw her arms in the cool air and sat on top of the headrest in happiness as they drove through the quiet part of Vegas. "I'M MARRIED!" she shouted into the night and then sitting back down in her seat.

Benji watched and smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the cheek. "Happy?"

"More than happy." she nuzzled her head onto his chest. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and slightly turned his head to kiss her forehead.

"I promise you, later on we'll have real wedding. You know all the works, the flowers, our families, the wedding dress, the doves."

"Doves?" she questioned.

"Yeah, when we step out of church, the doves fly out and stuff." He mumbled, trying to hide the redness that on his cheeks.

Ella quietly chuckled and played with the necklace that Benji had given back to her. "Hopeless romantic, huh? What if the doves poop all over our guest?"

"Another reason why we should get doves." He laughed. "Maybe we can get them to hit the people we don't like and their cars." He nodded and grinned like an idiot. "Brilliant idea. Defiantly, get the doves."

Ella shook her head and laughed. "Brilliant, just brilliant. If I didn't know, I think I married Einstein."

Benji scoffed. "Now you're just making fun of me."

"No, no I'm not. I think it's a great idea. Oh, and you know what else we could get? We can get clowns to scare the little kids and put fake insects in the food. . ."

"Shut up, never mind." He huffed.

She laughed and playfully pinched his cheek. "Also get exotic dancers for the reception." Benji raised his eyebrows and Ella grinned. "Don't get all grumpy, grumpy. We don't need a 'real wedding.' I'm already married to you, we don't need to show the world."

"Are you sure?" he asked uncertainly.

"Yes. All I need is you." She whispered, brushing her lips against his.
