| The Washington Saengerbund participated in the 2004 DC Fete de la Musique, sponsored by the DC Commission on the Arts. The Fete de la Musique, an internationally recognized music festival that marks the first day of summer, was held in Washington, DC June 18 - 21. Hailed as the Capital's "Mardi Gras of Music," the event offered free concerts for the public by musicians throughout the District. The Washington Saengerbund concert was held on June 19 at 5 pm in the Auditorium of the St. Paul Center, St. Paul's Rock Creek Church Yard, Rock Creek Church Road & Webster Street, NW.
