The Washington Saengerbund (founded 1851) is joined by the Delaware Saengerbund (founded 1853) in this concert of German songs to celebrate the arrival of spring. The two choral societies are dedicated to preserving German song, language and culture.

This concert is presented in cooperation with the National Building Museum as part of the Music in the Great Hall Concerts in Partnership Series. The series is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation, Inc.
