Welcome to Rusa (aRe yoU South African?) where people are introduced to different points views of certain subjects. I probably won't change anyone's mind, but I still believe it's worth a try. Instead of debating with countless of my friends and such without progress, I've built this website as a reference for future arguments as incontrovertible support. This leaves you as the reader to either use the material to prove your point of view with other bystander (if you just happen to agree with me) or better yet to critisize and respond back to my statements. Enjoy your time here, and long live intellectual conversations!
Rusa provides people in RSA and USA to look through this website and contact me if interested in any of the products I offer for sale. Because this is not a big scale market, I won't be running any transactions via this website as of yet but rather on a more personal basis (i.e. email, phone, or even in person). I have two locations where I work from: Raleigh, North Carolina, USA and Sunninghill, Gauteng, RSA. To see what I have to offer, just click on the flag or link that represents where you are, either the South African or American Store. Headlines This just in! TSOTSI is opening this Friday, April 21st 2006 at the Colony in Raleigh, the Chelsea in Chapel Hill, and the Galaxy Theatre in Cary. OSCAR WINNING FILM! ACADEMY AWARD WINNER FOR BEST FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM Based on the book by acclaimed author and playwright, Athol Fugard, this deeply affecting film traces six days in the life of a young gang leader who steals a woman's car - unaware in his panic that her baby is in the back seat. Pumping with the high energy of Zola's 'Kwaito' music, TSOTSI, an extraordinary and gritty contemporary portrait of ghetto life set amidst the sprawling Johannesburgh townships, is ultimately a story of hope and the triumph of love over rage. TSOTSI is written and directed by Gavin Hood and stars South Africa's hottest young actors. The film culture in South Africa is beginning to grow, but TSOTSI stands as one of the few films to come out of the country and reach an international audience. It has touched a chord universally - winning many audience awards in various festivals. 2005 Golden Globe Nominee - Foreign Language Film Audience Award - AFI Los Angeles International Film Festival 2005 Audience Award - Toronto International Film Festival 2005 Audience Award - Edinburgh Film Festival 2005 Michael Powell Award - Edinburgh Film Festival 2005 This film is RATED R for language and some strong violent content. Splendid Subjects Xbox would be a very spendid subject if only it was done, please bear with me. To Our Visitors Please feel free to comment or express your opinion on any of my subjects. You will find the required information to reach me on my Contacts Page. If you have any technical questions about Rusa's web site, please refer to my Help section. Some of my visiters for example might find the text size too small on this web site, however my help section does have the solution in increasing any text size displayed in your browser. The South African store is for South Africans wanting American products, while the American store is for Americans looking for South African products. Now the question is to switch that around? Maybe make the South African store for Americans looking for South African products, etc. I'll make a poll for my visitors soon or you could just email me your opinion. |
