                               SAFWAA SECURITY POLICY

Every SAFWAA member entering and/or fishing on SAFWAA managed waters Must display on their dashboards the approved DASH CARD and carry their current FINANCIAL MEMBERSHIP CARD.
The membership card must be shown to either the property owner or another SAFWAA member upon request. Access to all SAFWAA managed properties MUST be confined to SAFWAA MEMBERS.

Overseas and Interstate visitors may only visit SAFWAA waters after approval has been received from the appropriate Fisheries Officer or his/her delegate.

Identification and location details of SAFWAA managed properties MUST NOT be given to any person who is not a SAFWAA member.

Any person found on SAFWAA managed properties, who is not a member of SAFWAA, and has not received prior permission from the owner, may be liable to prosecution for trespass by the owner.

  
PROCEDURE FOR ACCESS TO SAFWAA MANAGED PROPERTIES

1. The fisheries Management Officer, or his/her approved delegate, has the sole authority to approve       access to any of our properties. Access can only be gained by contacting the above offices, reqesting     permission to access with details of time/day/date, and number and names of SAFWAA members           requiring entry.
2. The officer will record details in the club records.
3. If the request water is fully allocated on the day (ie already has maximum anger usage), an alternative  water will be mutually discussed for access.
4. Details of catches and releases should be reported to the fisheries officer as soon as possible to assist  with future stocking.
5. Arrival and departure to be within daylight hours.
6. Each member will be issued with a large dash card. While fishing a SAFWAA water, members are required to leave this card in the front window of their vehicle.

                           
SAFWAA FIRE PREVENTION POLICY

The risk of fire, particularly throughout the Adelaide Hills, is very high at certain times of the year, and rightfully the protection of the property and hence the owners livelihood is of paramount importance.

To ensure that there can be no doubt that the cause of any fire could be attributed to any SAFWAA activity, your Excutive Commitee has determined that there will be
NO FIRES OR NAKED FLAMES OF ANY KIND, permitted on SAFWAA managed properties. PLEASE NOTE- THIS INCLUDES CIGARETTE, PIPES AND CIGAR SMOKING, BBQ'S AND GAS LIGHTS.

Please use the designated parking areas, remember that a hot or leaky exaust can easily ignite tall dry grass!
REMEMBER - These and any other individual requests by the property owners are not intended to hinder but PRESERVE.
