The correct word to identify the Taotao Tano' of Guahan, Luta, Tini'an and Sa'ipan is "Chamori" not "Chamorro" or "Chamoru". The original word comes from the term "Hacha'Mori" which means the First people in the Universe and where the "Ha" is silent. From the earliest Spanish documents, the term "Chamure" was listed and spelled as it was pronounced. Therefore...the Taotao Tano' should be referred to as "Chamoris" and the language should be referred to as "Chamorro" or "Chamoru". Biba Taotao Tano'. Biba Chamori!
