Rini Shields comes from the future Crystal Tokyo to find the past Silver Emperium Crystal to defeat the Black Moon Kingdom and save her mother and father, the future forms of Serena and Darien. Kind of confusing, huh? Well, let's just deal with the Rini we know. She is kind of bratty, but what little kid isn't? She is scared and alone, and extremely brave. And she seems to have a crush on her father, but we won't deal with that here.
Rini comes to the past a second time as a sailor-in-training, Sailor Mini-Moon. Neo-Queen Serenity gives Rini her old transformation brooch with which she shouts "Moon Prism Power!" and becomes Sailor Mini-Moon. She has pretty wimpy attacks. *Ahh!! Look out it's the Pink Sugar Hearts!!* But she annoys the enemy enough that Sailor Moon can take advantage of the break and destroy the demon. Sometimes her attack doesn't even work. But it's pretty funny and cute.
Super Sailor Mini-Moon is the result of the Holy Chalice, or Holy Grail's power-up. It gives her the boost of strength she needs to fight as a super sailor which makes her stronger. She shouts, "Moon Crisis, make up!" [Japanese Only] to become Super Sailor Mini-Moon.
Rini, being the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and Neo-King Darien, is obviously the princess of Crystal Tokyo, the future Queen of Crystal Tokyo. She is respectfully called Small Lady by many, including Sailor Pluto. She also can manifest the power of the Silver Crystal. She is an only child, because of some legacy about the Moon royalty only being able to have one child, a female, to take their place.
Wicked Lady is the evil form of Rini. In SMR, Rini is kidnapped by Wiseman of the Black Moon Family and brainwashed into believing that no one loves her and that it is her fault that her mother is hurt. All the pain of thinking this makes Rini grow up very quickly and become evil. [e.d. The Moon people live exceptionally long lives which is how Queen Beryl got Earth to turn against them so quickly because they were jealous that the Moon people could live thousands more years than they could. Anyway, when you reach the age of about 23, you stop maturing, so in reality, Rini being 900 years old she should be about the same size as her parents, but for some reason she has stunted growth. This is why she so badly wants to be a lady, because she knows she should be already, and Wicked Lady is how Rini should actually look. This is deducted from manga reading.] Anyway, Rini is exceptionally strong and almost brings the Doom Phantom to Earth, but Neo-Queen Serenity channels herself through the past Sailor Moon and reminds Rini of all the good times, and that they really do love her. In the manga, Pluto is actually the one who saves Rini. She uses the Forbidden Time Stop to save the 2 Silver Crystals from touching and Rini realizes her only friend, Puu, has just given her life to stop her own misdeeds and cries and is reborn as Rini again.
