Raye opened the sliding paper door of her room for her guests. "i don't see any broken glass, i guess it's safe." Mina joked. they all sat down at Raye's table, and unzipped their bags. "i'll go get us a snack!" Raye cheered, she was cheered up from the walk. she closed the door behind her. everyone started on their studies, except Serena. "What are you guys doing?!?!" she exclaimed. "um, doing homework? what are you doing?" Lita said. "Raye is acting strange!" Serena said. "she's always acting strange" Amy chimed in, "she lives in a temple, she sits in front of a fire and talkes to it, she was threatened by an alley-" "no! not that! it's different now." Serena sounded concerned. "you're right" mina said, "it's like she's hiding something dark from us." Serena and Amy looked at eachother. then explained what happened at the arcade while Mina and Lita were playing that game.
"she's just psyched, that's all" Mina said, releaving the group. The door slided, and Raye came in with a box of crackers and a package of cheese. "cheese and crakers?" Raye joked with a british accent. they giggled, the other four smiled at eachother, Raye seemed to be over it.
after about fifteen minutes of silent studing and crunching, Serena had almost spent the entire time eating crackers and cheese, Raye started breathing really hard. "you're breathng really hard." mina said from the other side of the table. "oh, i am?" raye blushed."i'll stop." ....................*breathing really hard*..... the table looked at raye, smiling. "i'll be right back." raye said, getting up from the table, stretching, and walking out the sliding door.
Raye walked to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of water. she stopped, eyes open wide. she spun around, water spilling out of the glass. the room was quiot, shadowy because she hadn't turned on the light. She took another sip of water, set it on the counter, and slowly walked accross the kitchen to the doorway. she looked over the edge, nothing, nobody. a sigh of relief came from her. she turned to the kitchen again, the spiny feeling came again, she ran to her bedroom, and slammed the door shut behind her. "QUICK TRANSFORM!" she screamed. "WHAT?" Lita exclaimed. standing up, already clutching her pen. "raye you're overreacting." amy said, trying to calm raye. "NO!!" Raye cried again, tears streaming. she grabed her head, and knelt on the floor. crying. "they're back! they've come again!! i remember the feelings! it feels just the same! they're back!!" "who'd back?" Serena cried, suddenly getting into her sailor scout leader mode. Raye looked up from the floor. her face was wailing, face red, and wet from tears, her hair was even sticking to her. then she sniffled, and whispered. "a new enemy, *sniff*, a new apponent, and it want's to kill me."
instantly Lita sparked, surprising the others by already being in her outfit. she hopped over raye, and slid the door open, and ran out of the room. "NO! Jupiter! get back in here!! it's not safe!!" Raye called after her. the four girls sat where they were, shocked and appauled at the sight they saw next. well, they couldn't really see anything. at the table, they could see raye, still kneeling on the floor facing them, but looking over her shoulder, her raven hair shooken onto the floor. the door way filled with a bright white light. raye's shadow cast accross the floor. everyone bawled, they knew something bad had happened to their friend Lita. a Cry of pain filled the room, coming from the bright doorway. Raye stumbled back, crawling backwards accross the floor until her back hit the table, the light flashed, there were random shawdows but could not be made out, the cries for help did not stop. "NOO!!" Sailor Venus dashed through the doorway after Lita. She ran in, another voice of pain screamed, as soon as she ran into the other room, where their friend seemed to be dying, the door slammed shut after her, so fast that it actually bent, paper ripping and boards breaking. The Trio was shocked, another scout had run into her supposedly doom. Sailor Mercury Hopped over the table. "NO! AMY DON"T!!" Serena Cried. Mercury didn't answer. the door did not budge, Mercury, little mercury, kicked a hole through the sorry door. "MERCURY-" Serena held her breath, Raye was shaking. Amy sent out a stream of ice-cold air into both the rooms. the light flashed again, dimmed, and stopped. the cries stopped, amy stopped, stillo in her attack position, then she collasped. a shatter could be heard, then footsteps, someone was running. neither of them dared followed. a moment passed of total silence, dramatic, since the last like, 30 seconds had been screams and bright lights. Heavy breaths could be heard. Serena stood up, shaking. fists clentched. she stumbled accross the room towards the door, where Mercuy still held her position, it was colder the closer you got to her. Serena put her hands on amy's shoulders, and mercury droped her arms, as soon as her arms hit her sides, her outfit shattered, leaving her in what she was wearing before, the shatters disperced as soon as they hit the floor. amy's eyes were big, and glistening, tears were gliding down her cheeks, like Raye. Serena peered over amy's shoulder into the room where the light had come from. the room was silent, still, and Serena collasped on the floor where Raye had been before she crawled to the table. she covered her face with her hands, her pigtails streamed to the floor. cries bellowed from her mouth. Amy just stood there, stareing into the room, her mouth was open, and tears were dripping from her chin. raye shuttered at the back of the room, eyes open, quiot. she stood up, still shaking. but releif that the evil presence had passed. walking accross the room to see what had happened in there, Serena stood up before her and pushed her back, "Don't look!!" Serena wailed. her face dropped on raye's shoulder, raye could see what was in the room. three figures were enclosed in ice. but it appeared that there had been four, but the forth was shattered and it got away. that was accross the room. Jupiter has trapped in a web, a spiderweb! she had tried to attack, but it had backfired because of the web, and she was being shocked. there was an airpocket in the ice, it was big, inches from her, that guaranteed death. Venus was slammed against a wall, and an owl frozen in ice was battering at her face, her expression was terrible, her eyes were closed, and tears could be seen. her mouth was open from screaming. scratches were alover her face, and blood too, was thrown around each time the owl swatted. Jupiter, Venus, The owl, and the one broken out, set up a chilling scene. if Mercury had waited one more moment, the blast would have killed Jupiter, if Mercury had waited one more second, Venus's nose would have probably been scratched off. Serena felt raye's shoulder get warm, then very hot, other than the chilly room. she looked up, Raye had become Mars. serena stepped back from her. and mars steadied herself into the cold, cold room. her warmth filling the room. she first went over to Jupiter, who's expression was unbearable. she put her hand on the ice surrounding her friend, and the ice began to melt quickly under the palm and fingers of her white glove. as her hand reached Jupiter's face, they could all hear the bone-chilling cry. it was as if she had awoken from a horrible dream. she screamed, then saw the comfort of her friend Mars. her cries stopped, but tears still came, slower. she was breathing heavily. she had let her breath. mars rushed to venus, melting the ice around her face too. a shout worse than jupiter's came from her mouth, but at least she could breathe. Jupiter saw the big airpocket in the ice before her, and her eyes widened. Death in her mind. Mars metled the remaining ice around her friends. Serena walked over to the frozen owl, Venus and Jupiter turned back to Mina and Lita, while Mars found them some towels and blankets, Amy aided venus with all those scratches on her face.
Serena peered at the owl, it just looked like a regular owl, it was brown and black. it's eyes green. but the size of it was strange. it was huge. it's wingspan, probably about 5 feet. the tips of it's feathers seemed to have nails, a very distructive creature. Luna and Artimis finally showed up. they saw the two injured scouts. "Luna!" serena scolded, turning from the owl."where have you been! for once you are later than me!" Artimis saw all the ice. "what happened here!?" he meowed. Raye came back with towels, out of her mars outfit. "we have another enemy" she said, draping a towel around Lita. Artemis went to his master, Mina, and purred around her ancles, they both sat on the table in raye's room. "Another enemy!?" Luna exclaimed, looking at serena. "what ever it is, it had this owl." Serena ried to explain. luna meowed."what owl?" Serena spun around, almost slipping on the ice, the owl was gone!! it seemed to have excaped like the other figure, the ice was broken, but nobody heard it this time.
Amy looked up from bandaging mina's face, "this injury is impossible! Mina will have scars all over her face!" she exclaimed. "What about hotaru?" Lita mumbled. "what?" raye asked. "Hotaru, you know sailor saturn? she has that weird gift of healing people, maybe she'll help us out." lita clutched the ice packet she was dabbing on her burns from being electucted. "WHERE DID THAT OWL GO!?!?!" serena could be heard from the other room. "i'll go out and try to find Hotaru." raye said. "no!" amy stood up. "i will, that thing is already out to kill you. you should stay here with the others." she sniffed. ........ "you're right, thank you" raye said. Amy grabbed her little scout calculater and headed outside.
"i need to find reeny, she knows where hotaru usually is." amy thought. she caught the bus, and headed towards serena's house. getting off at the bus stop closest to serena's house, amy could hear birds chirping, this sort of angered her, the birds were happy when her friends were almost killed. yet it was kind of a relief to hear something nice. she rang the doorbell. Ding-Dong! reeny answered. "hi Amy! i'm glad it's you and not stupid serena!" amy knelt down to her level."DO YOU KNOW WHERE HOTARU IS???!!!!"
