Birds were chirping outside on the motel lawn and somewhere far away the sounds of the country road could be heard. A soft breeze played with the faded rose-coloured curtains bringing the fresh fragrance of young grass through the halfly opened window into the small room. The young short haired blond woman lying on a small bed smack into the middle of that unadorned room was twinkling with her nose as a sleek aqua-coloured curl tickled her tenderly. She blinked into the morning light flooding the room and became at the same moment aware of the light weight on her shoulder. After she sneezed she looked into a pair of fantastic blue eyes, which belonged to the aqua curled head, which had suddenly woken her up. Two light pairs of eyes were watching each other for a long time until the aqua haired lady blushed and freed herself from the strong arms, which had protected her during that troublesome night.

"Sorry... - I was just" She stammered.

"First of all good-morning Michiru" The blond answered in her relaxed deep voice. "Of course, I just wanted to apologize - I, I didn't mean to trouble you that way - I had a terrible nightmare - wanted some protection - I guess - please excuse me..." Michiru said with her eyes bound to the white sheet. "Doesn't matter to me - had another of your dreams again?" "Yes Haruka, the end comes closer and closer - we must carry out our mission as soon as possible - there is no more time to spent senselessly, if we - "Yep, I know, but I think the end of the world will wait breaking up upon us till we've finished breakfast - hmm?" She interrupted with a teasing voice and left Michiru who was still sitting disappointed in the bed, following her with her sharp views until she slipped into the bathroom.

Haruka grinned wickedly as she thought back to the embarrassment in Michiru's eyes as she had discovered, that she had slept like a baby in her arms. As she undressed and went to take a shower she wasn't surprised to find only cold water running out of the filthy tab; this was not the first motel they had both visited since she met Michiru some weeks ago, but it was the first time they shared a room... They had arrived late at night and Michiru had been so tired and exhausted that she agreed to take the last unoccupied room - and bed - together, although Haruka had suggested driving to the next motel. Again she discovered one of her partner's many veiled faces, but the suspicious glow in Michiru's eyes still promised many other insoluble mysteries in the soul of the romantic violinist.
"Everyone has his secrets" She murmured drying her cold body with a towel while glancing at her appearance in the scratched mirror - sandy blond hair framed her face, which wasn't actually that much feminine and possible also due to the fact, that she was so often mistaken for a good-looking boy - where ever she went curious girl's eyes followed her - and she knew it... She dressed quickly and pushed the door open soon enough to catch sight of pale skin hastily covered with a towel; Michiru held it in front of her chest and fled without ome single word into the bathroom. "Shimatta" Haruka shook her had slowly and decided to leave already for the breakfast.

"The breakfast" contained of a dry rice-ball and some tea, which had once been warm but Haruka was more engaged in remembering Michiru's sweet body and her cute voice as she had mumbled her excuses. From the first day on she had considered her partner as one of the most attractive women she had ever met but the feeling had grown - and not stayed at the stage of pure friendship or admiration - no there was something else in-between now... In that second she wished that there would be only occupied motels in whole Japan and sweared that she would sacrifice everything only to stay close to Michiru that way one night again. But a soft melodic voice interrupted her thoughts and there she stood in a loose summer dress like a beautiful flower, blooming for the first time.
"You look excellent today Ten'ou-San" The voice continued as a fresh little waterfall and now it was finally Haruka's turn to stammer: "Thanks - ehm, you as well, ehm of course, - had already better food I suppose..." "What has happened to you?" she giggled and sat down facing her, shortly touched slightly Haruka's knee with her bare leg. The blond sighted quietly and they continued their "meal" chatting about unimportant things until she excused herself and went off to enjoy her daily trip with the motorcycle, which Michiru considered as an escape of herself but Haruka just wanted to be part of the stormy wind - free above everything... Also Michiru needed often enough some time for herself, painting or swimming, or just sinking into her own dream world - they both tried sometimes to escape of their own fate...

Michiru sat alone in the Motel-room, holding a sketch-block trying to express in pictures what was going on in her mind. She slowly lead the pencil over the sheet, painting long legs - soft lines nearly patting the paper - the shape of an athletic woman's body, as Haruka entered the room - she knocked!
"Am I disturbing you?" She asked carefully "Ara Haruka, not at all - I was just trying to make some sketches, and now I wanted to start packing..." She lay the block down on the bed. "Do you want to leave already?" Haruka asked in a dejected tone. "We waste our time hanging around in this narrow room you know that Haruka." She turned around and went into the bathroom.

Haruka heard the sounds of washing utensils being packed together as she let herself fall on the place Michiru had sat and opened the sketch-block - her eyes widened of surprise as she recognised the tall naked woman on several sheets. There was no doubt - Michiru had painted her - but still she tried to keep away from her - she surely wanted to leave for not running the danger again to sleep with her together in one bed... Hot waves of affection flooded her as she let her fingers run over the paper, Michiru had touched not long time ago. She buried her face in the palms of her hands and her face burned consciously of her guilt. Shame took over as she closed the block quickly since Michiru entered and lay a worried look on her partner.

"What's wrong with you? - I can feel it - obviously something troubles you I don't want to see you desperate like this" She whispered with her lips close to Haruka's cheeks and put her arm around her shoulder. Haruka felt Michiru's breath like a silky veil of mist on her skin and a shower of warmth and desire streamed over her tensed body and out of pure reflex she pulled the surprised Michiru up close to her and hugged her tight and ardently. Michiru felt like falling into a deep dark lake and closed her eyes to sense the blonde's presence even more intensively, until she suddenly had to open her mouth and breathe in heavily, as she felt Haruka's lips carefully touching her neck and resting there. She thought she was losing control as she felt Haruka's fingers wander over her back, slip under her blouse - her fingertips drawing lines of fire on her skin -hungry for more. Haruka's lips hovered slowly over her neck, lingered in its nape, testing the softness and taste of the girl's skin. Michiru wanted to let herself fall - be released from that enormous tension - growing painfully inside of her since she had first met Haruka, she struggeled with herself as she felt the urge and need to answer Haruka's soft seduce... Michiru slowly loosened herself but still couldn't let go of these green eyes holding her like invisible lover's arms... Haruka bit her lip and knew at that same moment that she had made an unpardonable mistake, crystal clear tears shimmered in the aqua-haired lady's eyes - deep and mysterious as the ocean - laying bare the secret of her bonds with Neptune; her melancholic but impulsive guardian planet. But as she stood up her hand rested in Haruka's - like a promise still to be fulfilled.

An hour later they sat together in the yellow convertible and drove south to the next bigger city. A tepid breeze carried with it the flair of the nearby sea and amalgamated to a love-song of the wind with the salty taste of the ocean on which the stars were shining like a gateway to the endless universe...
