We all want to Bowl a 300, do we not? Isn’t that what this Game is all about? We respect and try to emulate those who achieve this pinnacle of perfection, and enshrine their names of the Alley walls. We long to see our own name there as well. Let us not forget, however, that it due only to the Master’s hand that any of us reach our personal best. I remind you once more that it is folly to compare ourselves with other Bowlers, envying their apparent successes and despising our apparent failures. The score of 300 is indeed the best that is possible, but in our own way and our own time we will achieve the Score that we need to. A Game of 300 is still Bowled one Frame at a time, relaxing into and trusting in the Hand of the Master bowler, the one who always Bowls a perfect Game.
