Work On Your Approach
So much takes place before we even release the Ball. Our bodies, and our minds, move through space and time, preparing us to be in the correct position at the exact moment of release. If we are too self-aware during our Approach, then this self-consciousness will cause us to falter and our timing will be off. Only by developing a style that fits us like a glove and losing ourselves in the motion can we follow through with our most effective Approach. The Approach does not end when we release the Ball, either. Our attention is focused on the Ball until the moment of contact. We can anticipate whether or not the Ball will Strike or cause a Spare. Let this awareness guide your next Approach. It is a dance that puts us in concert with the Master Bowler.
