Maureen McGovern has more than 30 years of recording experience, performing on Broadway, as well as in television shows, feature films, and radio programs. McGovern's soundtrack recording career began in the 1970s with the No. 1 chart-topping gold record "The Morning After," the Academy AwardŽ-winning song from The Poseidon Adventure. It has been said that her voice defies categorization: from a jazzy, warm pop register she glides into a crystalline coloratura; no wonder she has been called "The Stradivarius Voice." You will love this performance.
