| Inuyasha: Age: looks 17, I dunno his true age ;_; Species: Hanyou (Half Demon) Weapon: Tetsusaiga -Head strong and harsh, Inuyasha is our resident ‘hero’. He started out at the beginning of the series much like a bad guy, trying to kill people and thinking only to use Kagome to aquire all the shards of the Shikon no Tama, which he would use to become a full demon. But things quickly changed as the story went on, and now he’s a much softer hanyou thanks to Kagome. Inuyasha was born to a human mother and a demon father. Born into a world that hated half-breeds, he was treated harshly his intire childhood, which probably accounts for his mean nature at the beginning of the show. He constantly fights with his older brother Sesshomaru, and tries to figure out his feelings for Kagome/Kikyo. A very cute thing that makes for some adorable episodes throughout the series. InuYasha wears a specially made ‘dog collar’ which allows Kagome to control him by saying the word Osuwari, or Sit (Sit Boy), in the English version. This is a must see event. The word causes him to fall face first on the ground, leaving the poor doggy twitching. It’s so funny. He also weilds the power of Tetsusaiga, a legendary sword made out of one of the fangs from his father, a legendary dog demon. This sword has the power to kill 100 demons with one stroke, making it an object wanted by many demons. There is great depth to his character which makes me love him so MUCH. He is easily my favorite character in all of anime, not to mention he’s a total bishonen, which didn’t sway me in the least (^-^). Back to the Character Bios |
