| Kagome: Age: 15 Species: Human Weapon: Bow and Arrow, Miko powers - A normal 15 year old girl, Kagome was living the high life, that is, until she fell into a well that transported her into the Feudal Era of Japan and into a complex story. Being the reencarnate of the powerfull preistess Kikyo, Kagome was endowed with powers to protect the Shinkon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls), from the demons that wished to gain it’s powers. The only problem is that it was accidently split into thousands of pieces and now it’s her job to go and find them. Although a bit whiney in the beginning, Kagome has turned into one of my favorite characters. She’s just like any normal 15 year old girl, trying to survive highschool, except that she can go to feudal japan…..ok so many she’s not that normal. She has a younger brother named Souta, a grandfather and a mother who she lives with in a shrine, which is the future version of the place where Inuyasha was pinned to a tree (see story plot for more info). Kagome is constantly trying to figure out her feelings for InuYasha. She’s got a bit of speed bump in that Kikyo, the original preistess who protected the Shinkon no Tama, still loves him, making Kagome wonder if she should just let him go. We say HELL NO!!! Kikyo’s a psycho. Anyways, I love Kagome….she’s great….that’s about it. ^-^ Back to the Character Bios |
