| Brieftly : A mischief little monkey born 500 years ago from a stone . He is always for food and more foods , and is always hungry !! He is the only member in Saiyuki who does not smoke or drinks ..... and that is because he is the youngest in the group . Goku was imprisoned in a stone jail for 500 years without getting old due to those crime he committed . He is actually the child of the group and tend to be very childish and foolish at times . Gojo and Goku always fight over small matters (this made the anime interesting and funny) . He is really attracted to Sanzo cause in his past life , Sanzo was his guardian and he felt comfortable with him plus Sanzo was the first person to show him kindness after his 500 years in prison . He is the strongest and the most powerful member of Saiyuki and not even Hakkai or Goyo could defeat whether or not he had his power control device on . Sanzo is the only person who could change him back to himself when his power control device was taken out . Saiyuki Gaiden : He was bought to heaven after his birth to keep him out of trouble . You will get to know that he was named by Konzen Douji(Sanzo's previous life) as 'Son Goku' . In heaven , he is always in trouble and alot of gods dislike him cause he was being taken care by Konzen . He made friend with Tempou ( Hakkai previous' life ) , Kenren (Goyo previous' life) and the god of war , Nataku . My opinions : I love this character !! He is my favorite character among all of the animes I have watched before !! Though he did not have Sanzo's cools , Hakkai's smiles or Goyo's hots , but he had his own kawaiiness !! He is the joy of the group as well as the troublemaker ..... I really enjoy watching him saying ' Hey , Sanzo , I am hungry ' or when he is fighting with Goyo . And to tell you the truth , I can't believe that he is actually 18 ! He seems no older than 15 !! I must admit that he bring fun and happiness to those watching Saiyuki . On the other hand , I pitied him for being jailed up for 500 years and not having anyone to visit him . It really touched me after I have watched an episode whereby a bunch of birds flew past him and this particular bird came back for him everyday ..... but sadly , this bird died . He tried to reach for it but could not , he gave out a loud cry and which brought Sanzo to him . I have never been so attracted to any anime character besides Goku . I don't know why either , but I hope that there will be more of his kawaii's moments . |
