| Briefly : A always 'put on a smile' guy . He is incredibly friendly , kind and polite . He is the only member in Saiyuki having this kinda attitude . He is always very caring and is like a dad to the other 3 main character . But , there is a bad side of him .... be careful as you will never know when he is joking or when he is serious . If he became his serious self , he can be as mean as Sanzo or as powerful as Goku . He grew to have this kinda of personality because of his dead girlfriend who was kidnapped and raped by the demons . He risked his life and killed a thousand demons(which eventually turned him into one) to save her . But she suicide in front of him cause she was expecting a baby demon . He wears his power devices on his left ear . He owns a white dragon which could turn itself into a jeep and bring transportation to them . Saiyuki Gaiden : Tampou Gensui is his previous life . He is the Field Marshal of the Western Army of Heaven . His best friend is Kenren which rumors said that he had slept with him before cause of their close relationship . He is closed to Goku , who called him 'Ten-chan' and is a old friend of Konzen . Like the other 3 , he is hate by lots of gods too ..... cause Kenren can be very straight-forward at times . He loves knowledge , so expect him to be in his study's room with tons of books around him . My opinions : I love his split attitude . When he is himself , I love his smiles and when he is serious , I love his cools . He is the only member of the group who is original . He made the anime looked more bright with his smiles and I just found out that there are lots of fans of Gensomaden Saiyuki putting him as their favorite character . Well , what can I say ? Can I choose between him and Goku ? I don't know ;p . |
