The logo of SAJAFA-21 comprises the lion symbol and the symbol of the Friendship Programme for the 21st Century The lion symbolises courage, strength and excellence. It is depicted in solid red against a white background : the colours of Singapore flag. The mane divides into five segments which represents the nation's five ideals as embodied in the five stars of the flag : democracy, peace progress, justice and equality. The lion's face is fixed unswervingly on the tasks at hand and beyond into the future. That in itself is symbolic of our nation's single-minded resolve to face any foe and overcome any obstacle.
