<hey! I'm back! this is the second part of my fic and it's kinda short as well. disclaimer: I don't own Sakura, Li Syaoran or any other characters in CCS. In short, it's not mine!>

Part 2:

Syaoran opened his eyes slowly as he hears a gentle breathing beside him. Once he became accustomed to the light, he looked around him and saw Sakura sleeping beside him, her head resting on her arms. ~What happened to me? And where's my shirt?!~ He reached his hand out and touched Sakura's hair. She stirred a little and looked up to see who was touching her hair.

"Syaoran…Syaoran! You're all right!!" Sakura yelled as she wrapped her arms around him. Syaoran blushed heavily as Meilin, Tomoyo and Eriol enters the room.

"Did we disturb both of you?" Tomoyo asked jokingly.

Sakura slowly lets go of Syaoran and looks at Tomoyo. "Where is Keroberus, Tomoyo - chan?"

Tomoyo smiled and got Sakura's pink cell phone out. "I already called him and he said he'll be right over with Yue."

Syaoran looked at the three, positioning himself. "What happened to me - OW!"

"Syaoran, don't move too much! You're wound is still fresh!" Meilin yelled as she rushed to his side. "Don't you remember? That stupid Sumire almost killed you with her sword!" Meilin explained as she puts more bandage around Syaoran's waist.

Syaoran suddenly remembers that he stood in front of Sakura. Then an image of a sword appeared and came hurling towards him. He remembers Sakura calling out the Shield Card but to no avail. The sword pierced through the barrier and then everything went black.

"Syaoran?"

He turned to his side and saw Sakura looking at him. Her eyes were full of tears and she reached her hand out to touch Syaoran's own hand.

"Syaoran, I'm sorry if you were wounded. Sumire's right…I'm a no - good card captor!"

"Don't say that! You have come through thick and thin and…and…" he blushed and decided he shouldn't anything.

"And what Syaoran?"

He looked away from Sakura. "And I have always believed that you're great…"

Sakura wiped her tears away and looked at him. "Really Syaoran? Thank you…"

"Don't they look cute Eriol?" Tomoyo whispered to Eriol, who was standing beside her. Eriol nodded and smiled inwardly, ~Not as cute as you…~

Meilin placed the bandages back to the kit and looked at Syaoran and Sakura. She just smiled and made her to Tomoyo and Eriol. Suddenly a high - pitched voice was heard.

"SAKURA!!!"

Keroberus flew past Tomoyo and stood in front of Sakura and Syaoran. "What happened to Sumire?!"

"She got away, with my friends spirits…" Sakura said, a sad expression on her face. Yue then came and stood beside Sakura. "Sakura, we need to find Sumire at once."

"But Yue, I don't know where she is!" Sakura said almost hopelessly.

"I know where she is…"

All of them turned to the door and saw Miss Mizuki standing by the doorway. She walked in and looked at Sakura.

"Remember my Maze, Sakura?"

Sakura blinked and thought for a moment. "Yes…"

Miss Mizuki knelt in front of Sakura. "Sakura, she uses the same card as her hide - out. I know how to get there, but my power isn't enough." She looked at Yue and Keroberus. "I need your help."

Keroberus and Yue looked at each other for a moment and nodded. Tomoyo took a step forward and looked at Miss Mizuki.

"Isn't she your twin? Why are you taking our side?" She asked, puzzled with the whole thing.

"Tomoyo's right! Shouldn't you take the side of your sister?" Meilin added.

Miss Mizuki stood up and looked at Eriol. "One thing I've learned from Master Clow Reed is that you must know what is good and you must always follow your heart. I know that taking your side is the right thing." Eriol smiled.

"Let's go! Time's too precious to waste!" Syaoran said as he slowly gets out of the bed. He groaned a little as the pain from his wound increases. He felt his vision blurred and he almost fell to the ground but an arm circled his body. He looked up and saw Sakura, holding him so he wouldn't fall. For a moment, Syaoran wished that he'd stay in her embrace forever but he shook his head. ~What am I thinking?!~

"Syaoran, I think you should rest."

"No Sakura. I need to find Sumire and give her the taste of her own medicine!" He got out of Sakura's arms. He steadied himself and looked at the others, who were looking at him wide - eyed.

"What?"

They all just exchanged smiles and walked outside. Miss Mizuki led them to the same tree where Sumire appeared. While they walk towards there, Sakura looked at the rooms, now quiet. ~How could Sumire do this?! She stole all of the students' shadows and spirits…~

"Sakura?"

She turned around and saw Syaoran. He placed his hand on her shoulder and looked at her sad green eyes. "Sakura, I promise you we'll get Sumire."

"Syaoran, I can't help blaming myself for everything that's happening today."

Syaoran shook his head. "No one's to blame except for Sumire. Now, stop thinking foolishly and let's follow them. We'll get her…I give you my word."

"Syaoran…you've always tried to cheer me up. Thank you!"

He looked away and started walking to the group. Sakura soon followed Syaoran and stood beside Tomoyo.

Miss Mizuki stood in front of the tree and got her instrument. She looked at Yue and Keroberus. "Circle the tree, please."

Keroberus' wings suddenly grew large and it covered his little body. In an instant, Keroberus became big.

"Let's go!"

Keroberus and Yue circled the tree as well. Then Miss Mizuki looked at Sakura. "Sakura, use your key."

Sakura nodded and got her key out and held it in front of her. Miss Mizuki turned again to the tree and closed her eyes. In an instant, a bright glow encircled the tree. The light reached out to the three people encircling it. Yue and Miss Mizuki gasped in pain as they glow bright as the tree. Sakura and the others were horrified for they might lose them.

"Miss Mizuki! Yue! Keroberus!!" Sakura yelled as she took a step forward.

"No Sakura, stay back!" Yue yelled.

Miss Mizuki looked at her as well. "He's right Sakura! Wait until the Lock Card appears."

As if on cue, a card appeared in front of Sakura and an image of a lock appeared. Sakura held out her key and inserted it in the lock. The lock shot out a ray of light, sending Sakura flying. She landed hard on the ground. I can't open it!

"Sakura, are you all right?" Tomoyo asked as she ran to her friend. She helped Sakura stand up.

"I can't open the lock! It's too powerful!"

"Sakura, try again! I'll help you…" Syaoran offered as he got his sword. Sakura ran to the tree again and looked at him. "Are you sure you can take it?"

"Are you calling me a wimp?!"

"No, but - "

"I can take it!"

Sakura nodded. She and Syaoran stood back to back together as they inserted the key and sword. The Lock slowly disappears as a large whole appeared in the tree. Sakura, Meilin, Syaoran and Eriol entered the whole. Sakura looked back at Miss Mizuki.

"Enter fast!"

"No. We'll keep the hole open. If we enter as well, we'll be lost in her world forever…"

Sakura hesitated at first but she Yue looked at her. "Sakura, if you don't hurry now, how will you ever get back your friends' spirit?"

"I…"

Visions of her friends circled her mind. Nauko, Chiharu, Rikka, Yamazaki, and the others…

Sakura looked back at them. "I promise we'll be back soon."

"Yeah! And with our help, Sumire will think twice on calling us lame! For She's no match for us!" Meilin yelled.

Sakura turned to her friends. "Do you think we'll beat her?"

"Sakura Kinomoto! Of course we will!" Meilin said yet again.

Tomoyo gave her a thumbs - up sign while Eriol smiled at her. Sakura looked at Syaoran. She looked at his eyes for a moment and then walked to Tomoyo. As they walk farther from Yue and the others, they couldn't help feeling that someone's watching them.
