If a Picture paints a thousand words,
Than why can't I paint you?
The words will never show
The you I've come to know.

Sayoran sighed. 'I wonder what Sakura is doing right now....', he thought, luring his gaze to the window, admiring the beautiful view of the trees with their green leaves commingling wih the clear blue sky. He wondered how she was right now.  Was she also thinking about him? He recalled the beauty that no scenery could ever compare with, and smiled to himself.

If a face could launch a thousand ships
Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you,
You're all that's left me too.

He closed his eyes and memories of Sakura flowed through his confused mind.  He never wanted to leave her, but he had no choice.  He traced how he fell in love with her in the first place.  Back in Japan, she was so friendly with him despite his hostile treatment.  She was always worried about him.  She spoke the sweetest words that managed to touch him.  Sayoran realized it is impossible to determine how his feelings gradually changed for the girl.

And when my love
For life is running dry,
You'll come and pour yourself on me.

He recalled how her bright smile always cheered him up.  He never felt homesick when she was around.  Although the pain of loneliness cam to him, her smile always made him hope.

If a man could be in two places
At one time I'd be with you,
Tomorrow and today,
Beside you all the way.

Sayoran felt his heart throb against his chest.  Why did he have to leave?  If he had his way, he would bring Sakura with him to Hongkong, or he would stay in Tomoeda just to stay close to her.  He missed her so much.  He glanced at the clock in front of the room above the blackboard.  Only a few minutes have passed.  Why is time so slow!?

If the world should stop revolving,
Spinning slowly down to die.
I'd spend the end with you,
And when the world was through.

"We don't know when the world would end, so...."the teacher lectured as he wrote on the board.  Sayoran just watched him, his eyes widening a bit.

Would it take a long time to go back?  What if the end was near?  He smiled.  There was only one thing he wished for if ever that happened.  He would definitely go back to Tomoeda and spend it with the person who had his heart.
"Sakura....." he said in a whisper. He looked outside the window once again as birds flew above the towering trees.

Then one by one
The stars would all go out,
Then you and I
Would simply fly away.

Sayoran clenched his fists.  He would do everything is his power to stay with her forever. "Wait for me Sakura," he said in a deep voice, "I promise...I'll come back to get you."

He felt something hit his forhead and realized that the teacher was frowning at him.  More than half the class started snickering.

"It seems your mind has flown out the window to Japan, Li.  Let me remind you that you're in Hongkong in the middle of this class. What's the answer to my question?!

Sayoran gulped.  His teacher didn't know how close he was to the truth.  His face turned red in embarassment. "Uh...um...what's the question again?" he aksed, glowering under the teachers glare.

Beside him, Meiling giggled and smiled knowingly, an unsealed letter in her hand.
