| Sakura screamed and turned around. It was Julian. "Oh, God Julian it's you", she panted in fear. "You're not getting paranoid on me are you Sakura", he asked in that gentle voice. Sakura didn't answer. She was too lost in her own fears and she had this gut wrenching feeling that this was one dream that didn't want to go away. After Julian left still looking at his worried friend, Sakura laid down and tried to sleep. Suddenly a scream split the night. She fell out of bed praying to god it wasn't Tory or Dad. She so badly wanted it to be a cat that when she tripped into Tory's room she didn't even notice how messy it was. Tory wasn't a messy person. "Tory?",She whispered. Her throat clogged with fear. "Tory!?", this wasn't funny any more. She grabbed the sheets and ripped them off the bed. No one was there. Sakura could feel her last shreds of sanity slipping out of her grasp and she began to scream. "SAKURA!!!? WHAT"S WRONG WITH YOU!?", and then Sakura was grabbed and flipped into someones arms. She knew immediatley it was Tory. "Oh, god Tory", she panted. "You're okay. Where were you, you jerk? You had me scared to death.," She said with tears forming in her eyes. "Hey, Sakura chill out. I'm okay. I fell out of bed after that cat fight started and had to go shoo them away". He said in that patranozing tone. "Sakura....", he said after a moment. "Iv'e had it up to here with you're problems. You're not going to school tomorrow. You'll stay here and rest until you get some shred of sanity back, okay?" "Not okay!!", she shouted. "You're not Dad and you can't tell me what to do". "Well, scince Dad had to go away on a work trip, you're under my command from now on and you'll do as I say. Is that clear?", he said coolly. Sakura couldn't fight with him. He was right. She didn't want to act this way in front of all her friends. And she needed to sleep. As she let the darkeness wash over her she knew the dream was coming. And it was here. The dream was so much clearer this time. She was standing in the Park in her pink capturing uniform. She looked up into the sky and felt something wet hit her face. Rain was her first thought but as she reached up to wipe it away, her hand came away red. Just as suddenly a voice started to whisper in her ear. "Each time a Card is captured a part of you will go. Be it your sanity or be it your soul. You have no way to fight me, Child of the Clow. So join me in darkness, an Unwaking Destiny to prowl. But beware the 4 powers of darkness one you have already learned. The power of "Run" the least greatest and the power of "Fear" the four. If you learn to conquer each, your soul you shall keep. Beware the curse of Clow, it yields an unwary heat. Conquer each and live longer, yield and die. I can warn you no more. My time grows weak and I die.", and then suddenly the voice was just gone. And she awoke. This time there was no running or screaming. But she most definitley knew that this was no ordinary dream. She pushed herself out of bed and rushed to the computer to type in Li's address. "Li, I must see you, the dream has gotten worse and I know it means something horrible. Please come back to me. I'm scared," Love Sakura Sweat dripped down her face as she pondered over the riddle. 4 Powers you must learn to defeat the darkness. "Run" the least powerful and "Fear" the greatest of the four. Well she was pretty sure she had already learned of the power to run. It was the ablility to know when to fight and when to let your fear become your ally. Just as suddenly her wand glowed a brillant red and right on top of the yellow stars top point an embelm of a foot with a wing attached to it appeared. The voice once again returned. " I will have trouble tricking you I will. But Run is the least of the powers you will learn. Never a Cardcaptor I haven't won. Your soul is mine. Are you prepared to come?" The next task I set for you is no easy find. Destroy the force of jealousy and you won't be mine. At least for now." And once again Sakura was lost in her nightmare of running endlessly and screaming in pain. |
