Soul mates

This is my second fan fiction my first one wasn’t that good so I’m hoping this will compensate! In this one they are four- teen and Meiling, Li and Eriol are living in Twin Bells.                                     CHAPTER ONE

“I can’t wait!” Madison told Sakura over the phone. “Eriol and I are going to England as exchange students and I get to stay at his house!!” Madison said in an excited voice. “I have packed my bags and I’m taking my camera I’ll take lots’ of photos’ just for you!” “I’m counting on it!!” Sakura said. “Where are the exchange students from?” “They could be from anywhere around the world!” “I know Meiling and Li are hosting one of the students!” Madison said. “I’m leaving for the airport in an hour come and say good-bye!” Madison said. “Of course! I’m going with Li and Meiling to pick up the exchange student.” Sakura said. “We aren’t the only pair going you know.” Madison said. “What?” “Ruby moon and Yue are coming too, he is also taking Spinal Sun with him.” “Really?” Sakura said. “Yes Ruby moon and Yue are taking a vacation.” Madison said. “So they are coming with us.” “That’s sounds nice!” Sakura said. “Be sure to write!” Madison said. “You bet I will!” Sakura said. “See you in an hour!” Sakura said. “See you!” Madison said and hung up. “So can I come?!” Kero said hopefully. “No, Kero I told you before you can’t what happened if someone saw you!” “Your no fun!” “Kero I’m sorry but I can’t risk it!” “I’ll say good bye to Spinal Sun for you!” “Alright bye!” Kero said solemnly. Sakura went down stairs to see if her dad was ready. “I’m ready!” Sakura said coming down the stairs. “Why are you wearing the school uniform?” Tori said looking at Sakura. “Because I am one of the representatives for school and have to wear school uniform so that the people know who we are!” “It’s not like they’d miss a monster like you!” Tori said. Sakura gave him an angry look. “Ready!” Sakura’s dad yelled from the front door. “Alright!” Sakura ran out the door and into the car. “Won’t be long Tori.” Sakura’s dad said. “BYE!!” Sakura said from the car. They headed off. When they got to the airport Sakura saw Madison. They were pretty obvious though and with Ruby moon and Yue with them it was easier. Though Yue and Ruby moon made very good humans Sakura just felt for their aura. “Well bye my plane is going.” Madison said. Sakura felt guilty wishing she could of come earlier. She hugged them all good bye then turned to see Li and Meiling come in. “Aww look there goes the plane I knew we should of come early!” Meiling said. “Well we better get over to the students are arriving or they might get lost.” Li said looking as the plane left from sight. They made their way over to the port were two kids came out. One was a strong and handsome guy. The other was a shy girl with frizzy hair and freckles. They were both wearing school uniform. “OVER HERE!!” Meiling said. The students looked up and saw them they went over to greet them. “Hi I’m Sakura!” She said shaking the hand of the guy as Meiling started to talk to the girl. “I’m Dylan.” He looked at Sakura who started to blush the girl noticed it and she looked a little sad. “I’m Li.” He said coming over to shake his hand, he too didn’t like the way the guy looked at Sakura. They locked hands and eyed each other until Meiling burst in. “We better get you two to the homes you’ll be staying at you will be staying with me Violet. Dylan will be staying with Zachary.” Meiling took them out to the car park were they found Zachary who was late. “Sorry.” “It’s o.k.” Sakura said. While Zachary introduced himself to Dylan Li pulled Sakura aside. “Have you noticed the girl is keeping as far away from us as possible.” Li said looking at her as she went in the car with Meiling. “Maybe she is just shy.” Sakura said. “Sakura we better go now Tori is expecting us at home.” Sakura’s dad said. “Bye Li.” She said hugging him good-bye Dylan looked at them with a sort of jealousy in his eye. Li got in the car and waved good-bye to them. She waved good-bye to Zachary and Dylan as she left the airport.

 

Later that night Sakura had a dream were Li was in trouble and someone was attacking him and Li was too weak to fight. She woke up in a sweat and got ready for school. She left quietly seeing that everyone was asleep still. She made her way to school and saw Li waiting at the gate. “Hi Li!” Sakura said cheerfully. “Hi..” He said quietly. “Where are Meiling and Violet?” Sakura said looking around. “Somewhere at school, the stayed up last night doing cosmetics and stuff they got rid of their hair on their legs and arms. It took them a while to get to bed. Meiling also did Violets hair this morning!” Sakura just smiled. “You’re wrong she’s not shy she just seems to stay away from us. She kept away from me as much as possible this morning.” Li said. “Give her time Li it’s probably just because she doesn’t know you, don’t forget Meiling talked to her and spent a lot of time around her she just probably is more comfortable around her.” Sakura said. “No it’s more then that, that necklace around her neck it doesn’t seem right.” Li said. “What necklace?” Sakura said trying to remember. “You’ll see it in class if you don’t sense.” Li said. When Sakura went in class she could see Violet on the other side of the room she did seem to be keeping away from them. That is when Sakura noticed the neck-lace it was on a golden chain with a little angel holding a blue stone like a sapphire, and when Sakura looked at it she could swear that it was blinking like a signal. Violet seemed to notice and hid it in her top. “Li did you see that!” She said in a whisper. “Yeah..” “Wonder what it is?” Sakura asked him. “I know how we can find out.” Li said. “How?” “I’ll tell you after school met me near the park.” “O.k.” Sakura said. After class Violet seemed to disappear. “Look there is Dylan.” Sakura said. “Look at him his really good at basketball!” Rita said watching him. After a while the crowd built up just to watch his one- man game. Eventually Li came after talking to Meiling. “My plan has been put into action, what are you watching?” Li said watching the crowd suspiciously. He overheard a couple of girls talking. “Look at him, his so cute!” “I know isn’t he the exchange student?” “Yeah his so dreamy.” “I’m watching Dylan play his one man game look!!” “He has been just shooting balls and he never misses!!” Sakura said in aw. She turned around to see where he went then she heard the crowd gasp. She turned around to see Li. “Want to play a game?!” Li said challenging Dylan. “Sure.” Dylan said their eyes met in lock then they began. It went for most of lunch Meiling and Violet showed up, Violet and looked on with a bit of fear in her eyes.  “Go LI!!” Meiling screamed. “I don’t think Li is going to win I mean the score is Twenty five to two!!” Rita said. The bell went Li and Dylan just looked at each other then Dylan shock his hand and they went off to class. When Sakura turned around to see where Violet and Meiling went they were gone. School went by quickly for Sakura and the afternoon came she waited for Li who came looking a bit disappointed. “Hi Li!” “Hi Sakura..” “So what is the plan?” “Well I conveinced Meiling that she should take Violet to town and spend some time there and look for stuff, and we can go in her room and find out what is really going on.” “Li we shouldn’t there isn’t anything wrong with her!” “Well if you think there isn’t then you will come with me and prove it!” Li looked at her with anger in his eye. “There is something wrong and I’m going to prove it if you want to prove me wrong then come with me now!” Li said then stalked off. “Wait I’m coming with you!!” Sakura said and she ran after him.

 

They opened the door slowly to the guest room. “What if your uncle comes back?!” “He won’t his out for the afternoon Meiling said that she would be back at six it’s five we have an entire hour so come and help me.” Li said. They searched threw her draws and only found clothes, same in her cupboard. The bed was made and only a stuffed dog was on the end of her bed. “Her locker!!” Li said looking at Sakura. “That is where all her stuff would be!” “All she has here is clothes and two ear-rings!” Sakura said. “Look now she said to Meiling she brought everything she has to Twin Bells with her doesn’t that mean there is more!” Li said. “How do you know that!” Sakura said anger rising. “Because I heard her tell Meiling!” Li said. “C’mon we’ll check her locker and if nothing is there then I’ll believe there is nothing wrong with her!” Li said. “But there ISN’T ANYTHING WRONG WITH HER!!” Sakura said. They looked each other in the eye then Sakura gave in. “Fine there isn’t anywhere else to look now is there?” “No she told Meiling those were the only two places!!” Li said. They left for the school using the lock key they got into the school and her locker. “Look all she has is the work books!” Sakura said. “Well what is this!” “It is just her diary!” Sakura said. “Let’s take a peak.” Li said. “NO LI THAT’S PERSONAL!” Sakura said looking at the diary. “Alright!” Li said putting it back. “What’s that!” Li said pointing to a photo of her in the woods. “It’s just a photo!” Sakura said. “No THAT!” He pointed in the photo in the photo there was a blue person, that had marks on his chest. “It looks like Dylan except his blue and has the markings!” Li said holding the picture closer. “He has the same brown hair in the same hair cut and the same face too!” Li said looking at it. “We have to show Kero!” Li said. “Li it is just a photo!” Sakura said. “No look I know I’ve seen this some where before!” Li said and he ran off. When they made it to Sakura’s place no one was home. Sakura read a note. ‘Sakura dad is at work and won’t be home till eight and I’m at Julian’s and I’ll be home at seven be good, Tori.’ Sakura looked at the clock it was six thirty. She went up to her room where Li was telling Kero. “So do you know what it is?” “Yes, it’s a Manovi they live in the woods in England in disguise. The neck-lace is something I don’t know about…all I know is that you should watch out if a Manovi likes someone they fight the partner meaning you Li for the person. And if your hunch is right Li then his going to fight you for Sakura!” Kero looked up at Sakura. “He is going to do it soon!” Kero said. “They choose a partner then they have that partner for life once they marry neither person can break it the other person can never be with someone else. There are only about twenty Monovi left in the world so it is important for them to find a mate soon, they all live together in a tribe and if you don’t marry before your fifteen you have to marry who they choose for you.” Kero said. Li and Sakura made there way back to Li’s place when they saw Meiling and Violet coming they went to them. “I know about you!” Li said to Violet who backed off as he came closer. “I-I don’t know what you mean..” Violet said scared backing away some more. “THIS!” Li said holding up the photo that he dropped on the floor. She looked at the ground. “So you know..” “I’ll explain.” Violet said. “You better because I’m not letting anyone take Sakura away from me!” Li said looking at her. “Well I’m human but I had a grand mother that left me this when she died, I never knew she had it. You see it lets’ me sense peoples’ powers and if I touch them then I could take their power away..that’s why I avoid you and Sakura.” She looked up at us. “The Monovi want this neck-lace the problem is if you take it off and I give to someone they get the powers that you took, but then if you do that the I who gave it to would lose the gift of love…so they would never love again and they wouldn’t want that to happen. So they took me away they erased the people that knew me memory so no one came looking for me and they erased mine so I don’t run away because I would have no where to go. They want it because they were going to give it to their prince so he could become the most powerful magic creature in the world. The only other thing is that I would marry him and our child would have all the power that I took that way they would have better protection from the outside world.” “Dylan is the prince I love him but he…loves Sakura not me..” Violet looked at the shadows as a figure began to appear. “If he marries Sakura I will be taken away my memory that way I wouldn’t go back to them…” They all stood frozen at what she said and the figure behind her. “I’ve come for Sakura.” Dylan said. He pushed Violet out of the way and went for Sakura. “You will have to kill me first!” Li said jumping in front of her. “That can be arranged.” He said in a vicious tone and went after Li. Sakura watched in horror as Li got kicked around like a soccer ball. Meiling ran over to Violet and helped her up. They ran next to Sakura who just watched in horror. Li got knocked down. Sakura ran to help him but Dylan used his magic to stop her he held them up in the air as they tried to reach for each other, just out of grasp. “Sakura I love you..” Li said as Dylans magical grasp began to crush him. “I love you to Li..” She said looking in horror wishing she was stronger. “NO!!!” Violet screamed and ran behind Dylan and drained his power so he dropped them. Sakura ran to Li and they hugged. Dylan got up again his power still strong knocking Violet to the ground. He stood up and prepared to fight. Sakura stepped in-front of Li to protect him. She shot as much magic as she could get straight at Dylan. Dylan looked in fear then Violet pushed him out of the way herself getting hit by the blast. Sakura ran over to her. Dylan looked in shock from the ground. Meiling ran to her side. Suddenly twenty of the Monovi appeared. “The elders.” “Who are they?” Sakura said looking at them as they stood as if watching what was going on. “They are the elders they are the last left of the Monovi if they die only Dylan would remain as the last. They are too old to have children that is why they are letting Dylan choose a human as his mate…” Violet said. “They sent us here to be judged Dylan was to be tested to see if he knew what love meant…it is important to them love…and if their prince doesn’t know what it is then..they will kill me…I was supposed to teach him..I failed..” Violet looked up eyes watery. “I wish I knew my family and they knew me so that when I die someone will cry and come to my funeral…” Violet said looking at them. They all joined into one. “If he didn’t do what he did to Sakura and Li…he should know they were soul mates..if I only taught him better..” Violet said. “When they kill me they will die themselves so look..after Dylan for me…please Meiling…you are my best friend and my only friend…” Violet said. Meiling looked at her begging to cry. “NO!!” She screamed. “You aren’t going to die I won’t let you!!” Meiling said. Violet smiled and stood up and faced the one Monovi. “Come and get me I’m ready!” Violet screamed. “NO!” Dylan stood up. “Don’t do it!” He screamed. “Why.” The Monovi said in one joined voice. “Because she did teach me she is the best teacher I could ask for and a friend too!” He said. “Yet you still don’t know what love is why did you still try to get Sakura even thought her heart belongs to another.” The said, again in a joint voice. “I do though it is when you are willing to sacrafice yourself for the other when your meant to realize how much they love you…” He looked at Violet. “You  don’t she had to go..” They shot a beam at her but Dylan jumped in-front of it. Suddenly they all vanished. “What happened?” Sakura said in shock. “They used the last of their energy to kill her..” Li looked as Violet cried over Dylans body. He was barely alive. They went over to him. “Sorry about all this it seems I’m not that bright and failed lessons of love..” He said smiling. “Sorry about all this sorry Sakura so sorry Li.” He said life fading. “Violet I lo-love you..I realized it when it was too late…I won’t see you again..” he said as he began to cough up blood. “I love you too always have but I always knew it!” She said smiling. “I always never knew what I wanted and wouldn’t ya know it I die when I do!!” He said. She kissed him on his fore- head. Suddenly the neck-lace broke off from around her neck and vanished into dust. A bright light shone out and healed him. Everyone happy began to cry.

 

“Sorry about all this again. Me and Violet are going back to England we are going to start a new life and promise we’ll write as soon as we move into our new house!!” Dylan said begging to cry. He hugged Sakura and Meiling good bye then shook Li’s hand and boarded the plane. Violet hugged Sakura and Li. She and Meiling hugged for ages crying until the plane was almost going to leave! “Promise to write bye!!” She said screaming onto the plane they watched it until it went out of sight.

Two weeks later Madison and Eriol came back they got told the story and didn’t believe it! But when Madison showed Sakura, Kero and Li the last photo they stood there in shock. It was a picture of a beautiful mansion, but what really shocked them was the couple in the window Dylan and Violet! Violet still writes to Meiling and they are pen-pals. In her last letter Dylan wrote on the back Violet and I are really soul mates.
