Chapter 4: The Beginning Sakura’s version part 2

The doctor walked in the room and told Li he would treat his wound.

He stayed with me until I left.

We walked down the street to my house.

We both sensed that power, I was scared.

"Li, is it going to make us fight again?"

He looked worried, he looked out towards at the street,

"I don’t know, maybe we shouldn’t be together."

I was getting a little fed up with his sadness.

I looked at those chestnut eyes that I so admired,

but instead of a smile I gave them a frown,

"It will probably bring us together again."

He looked at me like he new I was right.

If it wanted us to fight there wasn’t any hiding from it.

He looked like he couldn’t control his body.

He was charging at me, I was terrified.

I screamed, "I know you don’t want to fight, but you might have to!"

I started to cry, I didn’t want to fight Li.

He stopped right in front of me, and hugged me,

"It’s alright, I’m fine now."

I stared into his chestnut eyes losing myself in the moment.

The only thing keeping me from standing there longer, was the sharp pain in my side.

He walked me home, I was so weak, I just wanted to go home and sleep.

I walked into the house,

"Tori dad I’m home! Sorry I was gone so long!"

*where could they be?*

I walked up the stairs into my room,

"Kero? Are you here Kero?!"

He was gone too. I kind of started to panic,

then Kero flew through the window with a worried look on his face,

"Sakura are you alright?!"

I didn’t know how he found out, but I had to tell him.

"I hurt myself when I was out with Li."

*I don’t think he’s buying this at all*

"Li told me a little of the story but all I know is where you were and how long.

He really cares about you Sakura, now get in bed!"

I hadn’t even noticed that my dad and brother weren’t home,

but I was tired so it didn’t matter.
