| It had to be a nightmare, that was the only thing it could be!!!! She ran, ran, ran. She had no idea where she was going. A scream of agony ripped through the air. Had she screamed, what was this awful pain in her head? Why couldn't she get away from the pain. Sakura! Wake up! What's wrong with you? Did she know this person? Tory? Tory! What had happened to the nightmare? " Hey, are you o-kay? You were crying and I couldn't get you to wake up or anything," he asked worridly. Sakura grinned feeling slightley foolish, "Yeah, I'm fine, now that I'm awake I can't even remember what I was dreaming about." "Well you sure had me worried. Do you feel up to going to school? I could probably convince dad you weren't feeling o-kay." " Tory, I'm fine. Besides going back to sleep isn't going to help me. It'll probably only make things worse." but secretly Sakura wanted to know if that dream represented anything or not. Li had left for home two days ago along with Mei Lin. And her friend Tomoyo and Eriol were out shooting pictures for a class project. "Kero was out wherever he was and the Clow book was locked safely away with all the cards. At least, she hoped she had gotten all the cards. Tory gave her a funny look and walked away. She sat in bed a minute wondering what the nightmare might have been. "Silly," she told herself. "Your getting all paranoid just because all you friends are gone. More like because Li was gone." "Oh, shut up she told her inner self." She cast a quick look at the clock and yelled, she was going to be late again. She practicaly fell into her clothes, grabbed her bag and lunch and rushed out the door, while trying to get her skates on. When she got home, there was a message on the computer from Li. "Hey, Sakura, how are things up there? Good? I miss you, sort of. Ummm... I was wondering did you have a dream last night. A really creepy one? Oh... forget what I said. I'm just being paranoid. Well be careful. I'll try to come see you some time. Mei Lin says hi." Love Li Li had a dream too? What could it mean? She rushed down stairs and into the basement. She snatched up her wand and ran back up stairs. She had promised she wouldn't use it for anything but card-capturing. But... maybe she should just keep it at arms length just in case. "Well Sakura, heard you had a bad dream last night." She gasped and turned around.... |
