Unwaking  Destiny
Part III: Jealousy is a sin
By:Katherine
Sakura felt like crying as she sat at home. Tory had just left for school, and had ordered Sakura to stay at home, or else. She knew Tory would get her into trouble with Dad if she went any where and she didn't feel like going against what he wanted anyway. She finished all the homework that her teachers had sent her for the day and went upstairs to send Li an e-mail. Today was Friday which meant he should be getting out of school by now. She prayed that he would be able to come see her for the weekend. As the computer booted up she thought about the dream, Jealousy was the power or lesson that she was supposed to get next. But how could someone learn jealousy. I mean their were plenty of times she had been jealous so that was a lesson she had already learned, and everyone knew that jealousy was a bad thing. These clues just didn't make any sense. And who would want her soul anyway. If the nightmare had wanted the Clow Cards it should have taken them before Kero left with the book, and if it had wanted the wand, well it could have taken it anytime. She sighed and turned to the screen. As she entered her password she hoped Li would have sent her a message.
There was one message waiting for her. Good, it was from Li.
"Um, Hi Sakura. I miss you. I know your worried about that dream. But mine is still the same, I just keep running away from something I can't see. Sooooooo.........I'll try to come down and see you this weekend. I know I don't sound worried, but I have a feeling that where both just stressed out because we don't have any Cards to capture. Don't worry, I'm sorry I even mentioned having that dream. It was stupid anyway. Well, meet me at the airport at 10:35 P.M. on Friday. I'll see you then okay. And please don't worry anymore. I'll take care of everyting once I get back. And don't do anything you'll regret later.
Love you,
Li
Sakura wanted to scream, so she did. What did he know, this dream wasen't some figment of her imagination it was real. And it was going to kill her if she didn't figure out the four lessons. Life was just getting really unfair.
"Sakura?? You'd better be home, or I'm gonna kill you." Tory said shouting at the top of his lungs.
"Tory chill out, your treating your sister like a convict. I bet shes in her room sleeping. She looked really stressed out last time I saw her." Julian said in that reasonable tone of voice.
"Wow, Tory can I meet your sister? I bet she'll be so cute, just like you." Said an unknow but unmistakably feminine voice.
"Um, yeah Laural, sure, whatever you want", Tory said with a slight grin in his voice.
Sakura rushed down the stairs, feeling strangely angry at this Laural person. Why would Tory bring somebody with such a whiny voice here anyway.
"Hi Tory, Julian," Sakura called out. And before she could start the next sentence she was cut off.
"Awwwwwwwwwwww!! She is just the most adorable thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Oh Tory why didn't you tell me she was so cute." Laural squealed. Then she walked over and grabbed Sakuras cheek and squeezed. Then talking to Sakura like a baby she said,"Tory and I are dating, so why don't you go upstairs like a good little girl and let your brother and I have some time alone."
Sakura was shocked out of her mind. She was thirteen, she looked like she was thirteen and yet this blond bimbo was treating her like she was four and a half. She watched as Laural went over to Julian and draped herself across him. What a slut Sakura thought, feeling the rage of jealousy take hold. She would kill that girl. She would kill her. KILL HER. KILL HER!!!!!! A red haze took over her mind as part of her watched as she kissed Tory and then Julian. Didn't those boys see that she was playing them against one another. Suddenly she couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed a knife off the kitchen table and launched herself at the girl. The girl didn't scream and back away though. She grabbed Tory and actually flung him at Sakura. She could almost feel Tory's shock as the knife went into his shoulder. Oh, god. What have I done. Sakura thought as Tory slumped away from her.
"Congratulations Sakura, you've conquered the power of jealousy. NOT!!!" Said Laural in a voice made of black ice. "And you've lost the game. Better  hope your little boyfriend does better at conquering the powers than you. I didn't think you'd fail so quickly. But I do forget your only 13."
And then Laural herself changed. And instead of a blond bimbo there stood an incredibly handsome man with black hair and eyes the color of glaciers.
"You've lost the game and your soul is mine." He said softly. "I knew you would. Now lets leave before anyone sees us."
Sakura couldn't look away from his eyes and she felt herself passing out into darkness.
The man caught her before she hit the ground. He swept her up into his arms and walked into the shadows where the darkness seemed to devour him.
The wand itself flew off the ground and went searching for Li. The only one who could save Sakura from her innocence. The only person who could stop the coming of the dark lord himself.

Tell me what you think everybody. I'll probably finish it off in two or three more chapters sooooooo......lets wait and see if Li can do better than sakura. Or are they both too innocent to conquer the blacker powers of reality.
