| "Sakura was never THIS late," Li thought worriedly. She should have been here by now. Then suddenly he got that feeling. As though sensing a Clow Card. But that was impossible all the Clow Cards had long been captured. Li was begining to feel uncomfortable waiting in the airport lobby. "Where was Sakura??" he said outloud, but under his breath. As he walked toward the exit he suddenly stumbled on a stick that had gotten caught in between his legs. As he bent down too throw it away he realized it was Sakura's wand. "Sakura would never have left this here," he hissed, in a voice he almost didn't recognize as his own. As he looked closer at the wand he realized that their were symbols etched on two points of the star. "SAKURA!!??" He shouted. "Where are you!?" Suddenly he was cut off. "Oh......how sweet, looking for your little girl-friend?" You won't find her, his majesty has plans for her." Li turned swiftly to find a beautiful girl with long blond hair and an evil smile. "What do you mean His Majesty has Sakura? And who are you....?" Li said in a voice filled with false calm. For some reason this woman scared him and yet also seemed to fill him with a burning desire to kill. "Well I can't really answer the first question without breaking the rules," She said sweetly. "But as for me...my name is "Hate". And no need to look so surprised," she said grinning at Li's shocked face. "I know what your thinking, every one says 'Hate' is an ugly thing, I however am not ugly. But enough about me, I've come to tell you that you have until midnight tomorrow to capture the last three remaining powers. Sakura almost had jealousy but she failed so it's almost completed. But you just proved right now that you have complete control over your jealousy so I'll let you have that one." The wand flared and the second symbol was completed. It was a pair of green glowing eyes.( The green eyed monster Li thought) "Now all you have to do is capture the powers of Sorrow, Hate, and the king of all....FEAR!!," Hate laughed evilly after saying this and leaped into the air where she seemed to hang suspended. "I'll see you soon little boy, as soon as you conquer the powers the door to the death realm will open and you will be invited in!" She crowed like a demon and then turned and dissapeared. ~Li at his home~ "God, this can't be happening!" Li shouted at the top of his lungs. "I have to get Sakura back and right now." He only had one day to find out the powers of Sorrow, Hate, and Fear. As he was pondering where to start, the doorbell rang. "Coming!!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. As he slowly opened the door he looked behind him at the exact instant a pair of hands closed around his neck and started strangling him. Li lashed out with all the fury and agony that came from losing Sakura. He thought to himself (If this person wants a fight......he'll have one) Then suddenly a voice cut through his dark thoughts. "You little idiot!! What have you done with my sister!? I swear if you've hurt her I'll kill you....DAMMIT....I'll kill you!!!!!" There was no doubt about who was yelling in his ear....Tori's voice was incredibly recognizable when it was being forced into your ear at unbearable levels. "Tori!!! What are you doing!?" Said the figure that was standing behind him ....it was Julian. "Tori, I know you're mad but Li may be inoccent...not to mention your hurting him.! Julian said still shouting. Just as suddenly Tori let go. Li fell to the ground choking and trying to get air back into his lungs. Tori wiped the blood from his nose where Li had punched him. ~In Li's living room~ "I'm gonna ask you nicely....WHERE IS MY SISTER YOU BRAT!!??" Tori yelled while sitting on Li's sofa with a wet cloth held to his nose. For a minute Li looked like he was going to make a smart remark then he burst into tears. Tori had never seen a 15 year old boy break down and cry before like this.....never like this. These were tears somebody cried when everybody you loved was taken away and destroyed. They were like the tears he himself had cried when his mother had died "Li, I'm....sorry. I didn't mean to yell. And I didn't mean to hurt you." Tori said softly. "Now please stop crying and help me find my sister." Li realized he couldn't stop crying. All the pain he had been saving up was coming back to haunt him. 'Sorrow' "Good God, he was facing the power of Sorrow!" How could he fight it. Then a message seemed to etch itself in his brain....what his teacher had told him after his dog had passed away. " You can't fight Sorrow, let the tears come. If you let it run it's course the pain will fade and your heart will mend. But if you leave it inside it will fester and hurt everyone...not just yourself. (Embrace pain )Li thought . Little did he know that as he thought these words a teardrop with a heart inside it was etched on to the wand. Li slowly straightened up and said "I will tell you where you sister has gone, only if you let me help you bring her back." For, a minute Tori's face contorted in fury. But Julian placed a hand on his shoulder. His eyes seemed to glow a deep color that Li couldn't describe. "Li, please do, tell us what happened. And yes we will bring you with us.....where ever were supposed to go." Li nodded and began his story....making sure to leave out the Clow Cards and Sakura's powers. He merely told them that a man and a woman had kidnapped Sakura while she was waiting for him at the airport and that the woman had stuck around to say "Come and get her" "Well" Tori said weakly..."Let's go rescue my sister." Julian nearly nodded as did Li, but as Li watched Julians face seemed to ripple. He had a bad feeling about Julian....he always had. But now he wasn't so sure that they shouldn't leave him behind.......... To Be Continued........................ |
| Oh, boy am I gonna get flamed for this one. I made the indomitable Li cry. Oh. well just shows how far I'll go to make a good love story. Oh and I have never seen the second season or the 2nd movie of Cardcaptors. Just heard about it so don't sue me if people don't seem to work right. All I know is that Kero is gone and Julian is angel boy. So wait and see what happens next . And I'm positive only two more chapters. Mabye only one. We'll see how my imagination is working. |
