"Shut up Aikou thats never gonna happen so stop making yourself belive that!" she mentally told herself. she streched and because she couldnt think of what to write she slipped into her bed. she fell asleep.
Without her noticing it one of her favourite necklaces started to glow gold and then die down.
"Im gonna be late!" Aikou shouted as she ran around her bedroom putting her school uniform on. Because it looked boiling outside she decided to wear her back skirt instead of her usual trousers. she quickly threw a white t.shirt over her head,put on her favourite necklace (a red star on a black chain(the on that glowed last night)), grabbed her bag and stuffed her school jumper inthere just incase it got cold and ran downstairs. As usual every one in her family was up and getting their breakfast. Aikou grabbed a piece of toast that her older sister had just buttered and ran out of the door.
"Hey!" Her older sister shouted after her.
"C Ya tonight!" Aikou shouted back to the house as she ran to the bus stop where her best friends Yukai and Kokoro were waiting for her.
"Hi ya! has the bus gone past?" Aikou asked, putting her bag down where her friends were.
"Yep it should be here in a minute" Yukai answered.
"just in time as always" Kokoro joked.
"I know for my birthday will someone please buy an alarm clock?" Aikou asked as the bus pulled up and the three friends got on and walked upstairs to the front where they always sat.
"O.K" Yukai and Kokoro answered instantly.
"Im home!" Aikou shouted as she let herself in with her key. " Oh yeah everyones out!" she rembered she chucked her bag on the floor and went into the lounge. She lay down on the sofa and fell asleep.
She woke up to see something floating in front of her that was glowing gold. as she woke up she regonized it as her favourite nacklace.It had came off her neck and was floating in front of her.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Aikou screamed and jumped off the Sofa onto a neraby chair. The necklace grew so bright that Aikou had to look away and shield her eyes.
The light died away and Aikou looked to see what had happened. Beside the necklace (still floating but not glowing anymore) was a little cat sort of thing. Th only difference was it had wings. It was red and had a gold star on its forhead. It uncurled itself and and flew over to where Aikou was sitting. It hovered about 20cms away from her face.
"Hello Aikou" It said and its voice was high and musical.
"H-hello what are you and how do you know my name?" Aikou asked.
"I am Hoshi, your gaurdian sent to help you on your quest you are destined to fulfil I dont know how i know your name it just must be instict." Hoshi said. "You have magical powers that i have been sent to help you use them. You are one of the chosen 4 chosen to rid this world of Evil and bring light to everyone alive on this earth. We must travel to met up with the other 3 chosen ones. My sisters and brothers are showing themselves to the people they must guard right now and we will all meet up in Kyuukai a town about 5 miles away from here. We will meet there in 2 weeks. It will take about 2 days to get there so we will leave in 12 days. Until then i will teach you to use your magical powers." Hushi finished.
"I cant have magical powers! im just a normal 13 year old girl!" Aikou protested.
"No your not and i will prove it" Hoshi said patiently. "imagine that the cushion over there on the sofa is on the floor."
Aikou did and gasped because a few seconds after she did there was the cushion. on the floor where she had imagined it.
"did i just do that?" Aikou asked stupified.
"Yes you did" Hoshi said. "That is only very basic magic. You will need a staff to do more advanced magic. Take your necklace in hand and say these precise words I, Aikou, call upon the power of the chosen 4. Star release!"
Aikou did what she was told and chanted out the words. The nacklace gave off another bright light but Aikou didnt let go. The light gradually dissapeared and left in Aikou's hands were a red staff with a gold star on the top.
"Is this my staff?" Aikou asked.
"Yes" Hoshi said. " Now i will teach you some more advanced magic tommorrow because its very tiring creating a new staff. You should get an early night too because tommorrow is going to take up a lot of your energy"
"O.K" Aikou said and they both went to Aikou's room.
