PATHWAYS & GOALS
There are places in your life
When the world seems to crumble around you,
Everyone is against you and nothing seems to fit
But just when things look bad and nothing could ever mend,
And angels your way God would never send,
God steps up and places his hand lovingly around you
And your path and future are brightly lit,

But then you stray, looking away
And your path seems to grow quite dim,
The way you once thought was the perfect plan
Now seems like a foolish whim.
The places you were heading,
The people you would trust,
The things you could have been doing,
Just don't seem to be worth the thrust.
~
But again like always God you finally see,
Through the fog of self-inflicted-torture, you know where you should
be.
Your path is bright again and the way seems plain and clear
But this is ever happening because humans will always veer.
If there is a wrong way, we will take it
If there is a wrong thing we will do.
Because of the sin nature that always is on cue.
It is in our very being, inside our hearts and minds
This sin nature that from our lives we can not unwind.

But this story has a good ending, you see
For this sin nature will not always be
The sin in our hearts will go away
As soon as we hit heaven's shore some day
It's not too far off; it's not too far away,
But it is coming closer every day.
~
This future sounds perfect, something for which to yearn
But it needn't come closer, this we need to learn
Because there is so much to do my friend,
So much to get done before that end.
Some many people to tell
So many things we should accomplish
So fewer, will be sent to hell
~
All these things we should keep in mind
So "Father lead"…and Lord Divine
Help us we pray to ever remember
Our roles to play, to tell the sinner
To tell all men of this marvelous thing
This thing that can save us and make us to reign
In our Father's kingdom for eternity,
Please let us remember, and this, our goal, to always see.

GUIDE TO OUT PATHS LORD
There are things we can not see
And only with God can these things be
Imbedded in our lives to stay
Just listen to what our Savior will say
Our eyes are blinded if we claim to know,
How each of our lives, each day should go.
You see, Our Lord knows what our future holds,
He knows everything, how the universe will unfold.
He's omnipotent, omniscient, all loving and forgiving,
He's Our Lord our Savior, the end and the beginning.
He's everything we can hope for, the only thing we need,
We only need to take His words in our hearts, and let it lead.
He's who should be your master, your only true friend,
Because unlike all gods…He is the beginning and the end.
