Michael Owen said about his love : "I Love Louise and we are both very happy together. I'm only 18 and I have hot intention of getting married.I wouldn't even consider anything as serious as that in atleast another 5 years or so. "I just want to be able to relax away from the media," Michael Owen said.

"It was my most important goal, but I scored a better goal when I was playing for England's schoolboys," Owen said modestly after England lost the penalty . Back in the comfort of his Hawarden home after playing a 9-hole round of golf with his father,Michael spoke exclusively to the Daily Post about his mixed feelings about being back home.

"I am obviously delighted to be home and able to relax but I would prefer it if I was still out there." Asked about how he felt about all the attention he was receiving at just 18, he simply said: "It's great." Owen said: "It is a shame we did not stay out there longer but it is nice to be home." After being welcomed home by his family he drove to his see his girlfriend, Louise, who lives just a few roads away, before returning to spend his first evening back in the UK with his parents.

Owen concluded:" My time has not yet come. I want to keep on scoring goals and stay away from newspaper articles and the media which will destroy my football. Owen is living in a happy family with father, mother, elder brothers , sisters and a dog. His father ,Terry Owen , was a footabller. He provides football training for Michael .

As a result ,Michael becomes a superstar. Mrs Owen said she is very proud of her son. In spare-times,Michael would like playing golf with his father. He is also talented in golf. Also,Michael will spend times with his girlfriend,Louise Bonsall, who lives just a few roads away from Owen's house.

They know each other when they were very young. Feel like that Michael and Louise just like the movie "Melody Fair". Michael Owen has no night life."He won't go out drinking ,"Mrs Owen said that. He tries his best to escape from the media. He wants to go abroad with his family and his girlfriend to have a holiday.

'We're so proud' says Owen's Mum.

At Michael Owen's home in the village, his mother Janette Owen said: "We are very proud of him.''
She
travelled to St Etienne with husband Terry to watch the game, while Owen's sisters Karen and Lesley watched the match with his girlfriend Louise Bonsall on television in Hawarden.

"I spoke to Michael after the game by the team coach and he was very upset but we are very proud of him,'' Mrs Owen said. "We always had confidence in him but we did not expect him to develop at this pace. He is very mature - he listens and that is his forte."He is fully aware of the pitfalls he could face but he is very much his own man and just accepts the media attention and seems to enjoy interviews.''
Mrs Owen, also dismissed speculation that after his successful tournament her son could be tempted to leave Liverpool for one of Europe's top clubs. "He's not going anywhere,'' she said.

Schoolmate Craig Robinson, 18, who used to play in junior teams with Owen, said the England striker's success was down to the amount of hard work he put into the game. "I have never seen anyone work so hard at football,'' he said. "He doesn't go out drinking, he just works hard at football. "So far he has proved himself to be a world class player and I couldn't be happier for him. It's great to see a mate make it to the top.'' Chris Harvey, head teacher of Hawarden High School where Owen was a pupil, said today that the striker's former teachers and fellow pupils were united in pride.

He said: "I thought he was magnificent last night (France 98). He was courageous, intelligent and athletic. I was knocked out by his performance. "When he joined the school we always knew we had a special talent on our hands and today were are all very proud. There isn't a teacher here who was not at a television set last night. "I think a number of people will now recognise that Michael is touched by greatness. For me he has been the Pele of the 1998 tournament (France 98) ''
