I decided to create a page for you with some quotes about trampolining, but I only managed one (from my own mum), so I aborted that idea and decided to give you a page with general quotes on instead, but I got bored, so I gave up on that too…Here’s the result: “Organised chaos!” – My mum’s opinion of competitions. I agree. “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you’ll land among the stars” – Les Brown….okay, so I’m still trying to figure out how to apply this directly to trampolining (I just love the quote)…I suppose you go high (towards the moon!) when you trampoline!?!?! And you should always aim to be the best… “If you can dream it, you can do it!” Walt Disney “The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.” E. E. Cummings (So get trampolining! It’s great fun!!!) If you’ve got any great quotes (which do, or do not, apply to trampolining) please email them to me at sam_bounze@yahoo.com!! Also, get emailing me your funny stories (relevant please!!!) and jokes etc…so everyone can have a laugh! Here’s another of my so unexciting attempts at creating a good section. Don’t read on if you don’t want to succumb to complete boredom… How to say trampoline in other languages (I did warn you!!!): Spanish- el trampoline German- Trampolin Portuguese- trampolim And then I gave up…and tried bounce instead: Spanish- el bote French- bond German- Sprung Italian- il balzo Dutch- Stuit Portuguese- o pulo Norwegian- sprett Trampolinspringen means something too (German, I suppose, although the only word I actually know in the that language is elbogen- elbow- maybe one day, it will be of some use to me…or maybe not). So let’s get, umm, balzo-ing! I'm just not funny, am I? (Dont answer that!!!) |
