Welcome to an emerging home page for a genealogist

My philosophy

After visiting a lot of home pages looking for fellow relatives and I've seen a lot of different styles of data being presented.

I've scanned a lot of pages and found some things, but more often I found things that really didn't help me. So I wanted to be of help and of interest to those who are looking for my family. Unfortunately, if you're not looking for my family the information on these pages might not be of assistance.

Too many pages, in my opinion, list a whole lot of names but very little data. Some use the form above and other than finding out who the parents are, or who the spouse or children are they explain very little else. For example: where does Mr. John Smith live, when was he born, where did he die. If I don't know this information how can I know if your Mr. John Smith might be the same as my Mr. John Smith. Without this additional information I'm totally lost in finding more relatives.

So what I've done is a little different. I've given some surnames, but not all of them. I've put little stories together telling which ones got married, where they were born, and where they lived and where their descendants went. Thus, if it says: Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Oregon this basically means, the oldest named individual was born in Pennsylvania [most probably], they went to Tennessee, or their children did. The current generation has some individuals in Oregon.
