Just go "North by Northwest". You shouldn't get "Vertigo" and no need for a "Rope". This hitchhiker might be with "Strangers on a Train" or with "The Man Who Knew Too Much". Keep your eyes open for the Master of Suspense, Alfred Hitchcock. Currently traveling around the Pacific Northwest.

Greetings Amanda,
Your Hitchcock Hitchhiker is in fine shape, was retreived from the
Triple
Falls letterbox in the Columbia Gorge, and has found its way to the
Finch
Arboretum Letterbox in Spokane, WA.
Regards,
HangGlider
Howdy from Silver Eagle! Just wanted to let you know that Hitch is alive and well in Texas. I found him in the Finch Arboretum letterbox in Spokane, Wa. on 8/31/02 and brought him back home with me. It was fun seeing all the places Hitch has been (at least 8 now). I just created my first letterboxes and Hitch got the first stamps from each. The Brazos Bend box has not even been placed yet so I put him in my Zube Zephyr box on 9/21/02. Since letterboxing has not taken off yet in Texas I'm afraid he could sit there for quite a while, so I told my brother (Baby Bear) to take Hitch with him when he goes to Colorado in a couple of weeks. He will let you know the next stop for Hitch.

Hi, Amanda! Thought you'd like to know my husband Mark and I picked up Hitchcock in Golden, Colorado yesterday. He's in good shape, having been to Washington and Texas before Colorado! We're hopefully moving him to another Colorado location today, in Conifer (if we are successful in finding it!). :-)

The hitch hiker was found at the flying J in Conifer Colorado. The
finder
has transported it back to the Seattle area. It had traveled through
Washington and Oregon on to Texas and then Golden, CO and Conifer. It
will
now be place at it's origin. All is well with the box and the books.
Fun,
Fun. Ginny

Hi Amanda: Just a quick update on the "Hitchcock" letterbox. After a
long trip
through the Northwest, Texas, and Colorado, the box is now back in West
Seattle
with our Sister. Quite a trip! Let us know where it goes next if you
have time.

Alfred Hitchcock has been found!
We've had actually seen Alfred before in Der Mad Stampers' Mt. Tabor letterbox, but we didn't know what to do with him as we were new to letterboxing. But this time we knew what to do and took him and planted him in a Wetlands to Woodlands letterbox in Gabriel Park, Portland, Oregon. It's a beautiful stamp of Alfred!
Please do not hide him in another box. Please contact me at samanark@yahoo.com. Thank You! To Return to Amanda's Clues Page Click Here
