| To encourage and equip each local Church of God congregation to involve ALL Young at Heart (Senior Adults) members in Spiritual and Social activities to better serve the church and community. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Establish a Young at Heart (Senior Adult) ministry in each local church. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Facilitate training and mobilization of local Young at Heart workers (train the trainer). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Promote Young at Heart involvement in state meetings, and sponsor an annual getaway. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Improve the professional competence of members in knowledge, skills and competencies by providing high-quality training opportunities related to the faith development of all Senior Adults. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| SAMB must strive to upgrade the quality of Senior Adult Ministry by providing leadership, support, and encouragment to its members who work with Senior Adults in their local church. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Background: The SAMB brings together dedicated people who work with Senior Adults in churches throughout the state of Missouri. These people of faith and service need linkages in "common cause." Most of these persons, both professional and volunteers, are actively involved in Senior Adult Ministry at the state and local level. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
