Yup- as you can see this site has been slightly updated. The navigation hasn't changed too much, I've just snazzied up the look a little. Nothing too fancy since I have a very ordinary grasp of html.
10/8/02:
I've removed the academic section of this site since it was fairly dodgy and required too much work to keep updated and of any use to anyone,
Welcome to my world
won't you lease find a seat.
There's no need to worry,
I'm the only one you'll meet.
I just wanted to express myself to you.
Undilluted and with nobody else to confuse.

For those who are regular visitors to this site ( all three of you)-, I've decided to make navigation a little easier for you..... whenever I add something new, I'll simply lead you to it by place this graphic:
on the main menu near any section I've updated or added. Therefore finding the new bit is just a matter of following the graphic. I'll remove the graphic after about a month, because by that the time the section probably won't be new anymore. Simple.

Yeah this is the first update in a while, as I've been busy with assesments and work. However now I am in finished my first year of uni and am sitting back checking out lots of films, and doing some serious updating of this site. Check out my serious renovation of the FILM section.
5/3/03:
Ladies, and gentlmen please excuse my absence, it was longer than initially anticipated.
My only explaination is the fact that I've been preoccupied being generally pissed off at the world and those who run it.
It's a sad case when the leader of the free world is a pisspot with a below average IQ, in power simply because of his connections irrespective of any qualification he may or not posess.
Even more terrorfying is the complete ass-licking worm we have as a Prime Minister.
Yeah, okay I guess you could call it a crisis of faith, not so much in God but more in people.
We live in a sad time when the leader of a supposed democracy refuses to aknowledge the opinions of those he is chosen to represent.
For March 2003:
With all the shit going on in the world at the moment, I'm fed up with all the patronizing crap being thrown at me by our media. People, it's time to quit being passive consumers and open your eyes and minds. Last month I saw Michael Moore's brilliant doco, "Bowling for Columbine" and for the first time in ages I felt alive! I felt like this thirst I had for the raw truth was finally being quenched and it stirred up this hunger to search for more sources of truth. This month's reccomends focus on shocking us all out of our complacency.
In short, propaganda promotes paranoia.
Glassner elequantly explores the way the media has distorted the US perception of threats to their collective and individual health and safety. Particularly relevant given the current international political climate.
Michael Moore is the 21st century's Thoreau and this is his  "Walden". Moore  views the US with the same mixture of pride and disgust as most Americans yet he refuses to submit to the dangers of indifference towards his nation's many faults.

This book is beyond any superlative I can throw at it. It's funny, tragic, provocative, sensitive and truly brilliant.
