Comedy-Manager Danny Rose was never very successful. However, he did take pride in his employees including the blind xylophone player, etc. So when he gets singer Lou to work for him-he's happy. However, he's out fast. X years later, a nostalgia craze is in and Lou's a hot ticket. For his first performance, he wants his girlfriend Tina to attend. Tina will have nothing to do with him. So Danny must go and fetch Tina to bring to the performance. As the day wears on, Danny and Tina get into a lot of trouble while, with no word from Danny, Lou starts to drink a lot.

9/10-My favorite Woody so far. It's not extremely funny, but its camera work is superb-the monochrome is spectacular. I love how two people who don't know each other get into so much trouble. Mia Farrow is a different role here than most movies-she's a part bad guy. There are many typical Woody one-liners. I don't know why I liked this one so much, it just struck a chord with me.
Rated PG for language.
