Thriller-Harrison Ford traded in his Ryan cap to Affleck in this thriller. Jack Ryan is a CIA reporter, new to the job. After he thinks up an idea, he is contacted by CIA director William Cabot to assist him. Ryan finds that scientists are missing, and MAY be working on a bomb. They have to save the President, who can be overbearing at times, while trying to save the country, nay, the world.
6/10-This is a movie for you if you treat Thrillers as Dramas. It wasn't thrilling until the end. The characters were OK, the plot seemed to enjoy having twists, and it seemed that no one believed Jack Ryan, no matter how many times he said it, even when everyone else agreed.
Rated PG-13 for violence and language.
