THE PUB - AT LAST!
I have been working on this Pub for about a year now - the first part of the year was spent just thinking about it and gathering things together.

In actual fact it only took about 3 weeks to put it together.

The Bar counter was made from two pieces of wood shaped to my design and supported with narrow corrugated card, painted "railway' green (I originally intended it to be a railway station bar). This piece of the puzzle stood around for absolutely ages before I got down to actually making the box to house the pub in.
Work in Progress
The above photo was taken before I started fiddling around with the layout of the Pub.
I explained the bar counter in detail above.  The wainscoating is made from the same narrow corrugated card I used for the bar counter.  The black strip above the wainscoating is picture frame molding painted black and just above that, I glued some border print that I got from Jim Collins (
www.printmini.com) - the border features billiard balls in various colors with a narrow green border top and bottom.  The rest of the walls I painted a lighter green than the wainscoating.  The flooring is Christmas wrapping paper that was left over from last year's wrapping spree.  The unit behind the bar is a shelf set I made.   I found the pool table at a flea market.  The inner core of a fax paper roll, raised the table to a suitable height.  Things have changed since this pic.
