Ginger
zingiber officinale

USE
Can be added to the bath
as a way to ease pain and increase circulation,
but only use a few sprinkles, not to much,
like cayenne, ginger quickly brings the blood
to the surface of the skin.

For pain
you can soak cloths in ginger tea and apply them
directly to the painful areas.

A Good Healing Tea
a pinch of peppermint,
a pinch of ginger and
either a pinch of clove powder or 2 bruised cloves,
add 1 cup of hot water and steep.

Modern medicine recognizes
many of the spice's time-honored virtues.
It is a carminative and an aid in the digestion
of fatty foods, as well as helpful
in preventing motion sickness and vertigo.

Tea is good for cramps,
to stimulate the digestive organs,
migraines, nausea and external stiffness.

GINGER is a wonderous natural herb,
as is garlic for this time too.
Like lemonade was good when I was little,
I think that warmed ginger beer
may even to the trick too ....

But in the end, the more we fight,
the worse all situations are,
and if we sit back and enjoy a little rest
....then things can be a lot better
....annoying and uncomfortable, but better....
