I
have always been interested in politics. I began studying the
American presidents in the second grade and continued to have an interest
in American politics through high school. However, after taking my
first class in government during my sophomore year at Wofford College, my
interest expanded to include international affairs.
Today, I study international relations at the University of Warwick taking classes in international relations theory, European integration and international assistance. My principle interests in international politics continue to involve American politics and US foreign policy. I am interested in British and European politics, the politics of the European Union, and issues of national security, whether in foreign policy or foreign assistance. More than anything, I want more people to be interested in politics. Although I hope to teach others about politics one day, I hope that my students will not only gain knowledge about politics and international affairs, but the passion to try to learn more and became involved the political process. For more information about politics, see my list of favorite web sites, many of which are about government, politics, and current events. |
