Litchfield Bushwalking Camp
In May, 2001, I took a group of students in the Northern Territory to Litchfield National Park.  This is about 100km south west of Darwin - beautiful and rugged country.
My two beauties crossing a creek to get to Blythe Homestead.
I was supposed to be bushwalking but I find it hard to stay out of the water.  (Cynthia thinks I'm a dag - I know I am)
Couldn't resist the opportunity to set up a swing!
Blythe Homestead was built in 1929 and I think they lived in it for about 15 years!  Its tiny with a dirt floor - home sweet home.
Cynthia and Serenity posing in front of Wangi Falls.  You can go swimming here but it was closed because crocs come in when it floods (apparently).
Serenity  having a nap while we swim.
At the Cascades; swimming, snorkelling, and jumping..
My fearless co-leader, Ruth, shows us how its done on the slide.
A water monitor trying to look like we can't see it.
