> How do u see yourseld handling the switch from Foward to Centre? I will be happy to take the court in whatever position coach Petrovic puts me and believe that I can handle any position. > > Bound to see a lot of minutes this year, are you expecting to score 10 points a game? I think that the double of 10 points 10 rebounds per game is a very achievable goal for me this year. I expect my lack of height compared to many of the other centres in the league to be a challenge however but have learnt a few post moves from Sam "what's a foul" Ward which I hope to put into effect. > > How do you see the offense running? 3 point specialist Matt Young has informed me that he intends (and I quote) to 'penetrate' a lot more this year. This should open the basket up for the outside shooters. If Mr. Young does try and show off his apparent shooting prowess I expect my main role in the offence to be competing for a lot of rebounds. > > What are your goals for the season? Despite my expected lack of availability I believe that The Crackers can build on last years mid-lower table finish and make a strong challenge for the playoffs. On a more personal level my main goal is to beat the rumoured but unconfirmed R+R team which, if it forms, is certain to feature my younger brother. > > Has Tony Hawke been a mentor to you playing with him last season and now taking over the centre role from him? Mr. Hawke is still angry with coach Petrovic about his surprise dumping from the team and refuses to mentor me in any way, aside from encouraging me to switch to the rival "super" sunday night league. I also wish to point out that last time I played ball with Mr. Hawke I blocked a shot of his in full view of his usual cohorts (Tom, Luke, Chris, etc.) and that he has yet to get over this.
