2 for 22 has a new cricket captain this season. Sam Ward has stepped down from the position. After not being able to deliver a Championship in 4 seasons he has stepped back and will focus on his batting and bowling more. Ward had this to say when interviewed this afternoon. "Obviously it was difficult to give up the captaincy. But a fresh look was needed for the side and it seemed like the right time to step back".
Rene Smith has been given the honour of leading the side this semester.
