A Beautiful Poem

There are many songs,
That describe love.
A poem,
Might as well do so.
But not any poem.
It has to be a special one,
Thought with the heart,
And spoken by the soul.

A good love poem could start:
  -I love you,
Since the first time I saw you...-
But that would be a lie,
Because back then,
I didn't know you.
All I saw was the package.
But the real thing was inside,
Like the caramel chocolates.

There are many things I love about you,
Your tenderness,
Your comprehension,
Your honesty,
But most importantly, YOU.

All you is what a I love.
I don't regret a word my lips have spoken,
My fingers have written,
And my eyes have told.

There is always a reason for everything,
I like to believe so.

I learn the meaning of an old word when I met you,
And I felt my heart for the first time.

There are many reasons for loving a person.
It is not just love,
it is you and me,
Three words and a reason for being.
