YOURS IN ST.BENEDICT Newsletter: An attempt to maintain lasting friendships       WELCOME! to the first edition (hopefully not the last) of ANIMO SAN BEDA! Months ago I  informed everyone in our e-mail network that I will voluntarily donate some time and efforts to put out a newsletter that will provide everyone with updates of our SBC Class 69/73. As you all know, our successful 1st alumni homecoming was held two years ago in which majoirity of the overseas classmates were not able to attend. Regrets to us who didn't, suwerte to those who did. After the reunion  Class 73 became a fully registered operational corporation enacted to manage  activities and fund disbursement in behalf of class members. Activities indeed continued thereafter but requires more participation and donations if we want  the class and our friendships to survive. It is for this reason why we need this newsletter. The more we are informed of our goals, directions and activitites, the more we can respond productively.          The columns in this issue are preliminary in that it  may change depending on responses and participation. Therefore like our samahan, this letter will need your help. By participating and responding, we can assure ourselves that the insitutional cord that bonds us will never be severed. Rather, the friendship we have will be our legacy to our children and to the next generation of Bedans. Lahat tayo busy overseas, lahat may kabuhayan. The relevance of our friendship and Class '69/73 is a matter of individual conviction and choice. Join me in this effort! Salamat po!
