1998 Sand Eater Fish Counts

Methodology:Two basic objectives were met; a timed count rating and an abundance count. For the timedcount, a ranking based on when a species was observed was created. Fish observed in the first 5minutes of the dive receive a score of 10, new species observed in the next 5 minutes get a 9, the next batch 8 and so on.  We also noted the quantity of fish observed.
The legend for abundance: S = Single, F = Few(2-10), M=Many (11-100), A=Abundant (100+).
