Address:  Reef Point Rd &  Coast Hwy (1),  approx  1 mile s. of  Newport Coast Dr.

Gather at:  parking lot south of main park entrance in front of restroom building.

Type of Beach: Sandy with submerged rock at surf line

Average Depth: 20 - 30'

Parking: Paved parking lot, $6 usage fee collected at entrance

Facilities:  Restrooms, picnic tables, cold showers,  payphones

Special Notes:   Thelocation is in the Thomas Brothers maps as an "State Undersea Park".
You should know that there is a hike at this one, up steps cut into the bluff
made of  railroad ties.   Expect a reasonable but steady climb getting to and from the water.
