Lesson 2 teaches how to build a colour co-ordinated web set.
It took me awhile, but I am pleased with my result!
First I chose my image.
Tulips are my favourite flower : )
Then I made my three tiles ...
My plain tile

My gradient tile

and my patterned tile

My plain tile is just floodfilled with colour #48001d,
with the texturizer filter applied, this time on the sandstone setting.
My gradient tile was more difficult!! I used about 6 different gradient tiles
before I was happy with the look. I used the foreground/background, linear setting,
angle 0 and repeats 1 with my foreground colour #48001d and background colour #74003b.
My patterned tile was achieved by applying the papyrus paper texture using
filters unlimited on my plain tile.
Next I made my divider using a brush and a gold pattern.
Then I made my link buttons using a smaller version of my header image,
and gold text using my favourite font - Asenine.
Finally, I chose my colours for my scrollbar and put it all together to achieve
this page!
